Content available remote Information granule system induced by a perceptual system
EN
Knowledge represented in the semantic network, especially in the Semantic Web, can be expressed in attributive language AL. Expressions of this language are interpreted in different theories of information granules: set theory, probability theory, possible data sets in the evidence systems, shadowed sets, fuzzy sets or rough sets. In order to unify the interpretations of expressions for different theories, it is assumed that expressions of the AL language can be interpreted in a chosen relational system called a granule system. In this paper, it is proposed to use information granule database and it is also demonstrated that this database can be induced by the measurement system of the adequacy of information retrieval, called a perceptual system. It can simplify previous formal description of the information granule system significantly. This paper also shows some examples of inducing rough and fuzzy granule databases by some perceptual systems.

The singularities of semantic networks, being the formal representation of links between book publishing quality, were set down. The linguistic terms including atomic predicates were taken into account. The method of determining the weigth of predicates is developed in reliance on linguistic terms. The model of priority influence of factors on publication design process is synthesized on the base of the developed method.

The paper presents the issue of database design involving a novel concept of Association-Oriented Database Metamodel, namely separate relationship inheritance. We show the modeling methodology as well as a case study of the real-world scenario within knowledge-based system: Extended Semantic Network Module of Semantic Knowledge Base.

The ability of case-based reasoning systems to solve new problems mainly depends on their case adaptation knowledge and adaptation strategies. In order to carry out a successful case adaptation in our case-based reasoning system for a low frequency electromagnetic device design, we make use of semantic networks to organize related domain knowledge, and then construct a rule-based inference system which is based on the network. Furthermore, based on the inference system, a novel adaptation algorithm is proposed to derive a new device case from a real-world induction motor case-base with high dimensionality.

The appropriate emitter database is one of the most important elements in the present electronic intelligence (ELINT) system. This paper provides an overview of the relational modelling, which is used to construct the emitter database for current ELINT systems. The method described, delivers the entities' relational diagram that is independent from the manner of the data storage in further process of implementation. This approach ensures the integrity of the measured data. The process of final emitter identification is based on "the knowledge-based approach" which was implemented during the process of constructing the database.
