W artykule przedstawiono analizę drgań własnych ściernic o kształtach złożonych na przykładzie ściernicy garnkowej. Mierzono częstotliwość drgań własnych i na tej podstawie wyznaczany był moduł Younga dla materiału ściernicy. Badaniu poddawano zarówno całą ściernicę o kształcie złożonym, jak i ściernice o kształtach podstawowych na które podzielona została ściernica wyjściowa. Na tej podstawie podjęto próbę oceny właściwości wytrzymałościowych ściernicy o kształcie złożonym.

In the paper the self-vibrations analysis for grinding wheels of complex shapes focusing on straight cup grinding wheel has been presented. The self-vibration frequency has been measured and basing on which Young's modulus for grinding wheel material has been defined. Both the whole grinding wheel of complex shape as well as grinding wheels of basic shapes on which the initial grinding wheel has been divided have undergo tests. Basing on this the attempt to evaluate strength properties for grinding wheel of complex shape has been undertaken.

Self-vibration of thin plate band with non-linear functionally graded material

The subject of this paper is the analysis of free vibration of a thin plate band made of nonlinear functionally graded material. The considered material has periodic properties in one direction and slow but non-linear functionally graded properties in the other. The main attention is given to description of the effect of the material distribution on the overall response of the composite. The modelling approach is based on the tolerance averaging of the equation of motion. The general results are illustrated by the free vibration analysis of the bracket and the plate band simply supported on both sides.
