Tomografia komputerowa jest wszechstronnym narzędziem badawczym. W dzisiejszych czasach najczęściej kojarzona jest ze standardowym, ogólnodostępnym badaniem diagnostycznym wykonywanym w szpitalu. Natomiast tematem i celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie tomografii komputerowej nie jako powszechnie stosowanego badania, a jako wzbogacenie pośmiertnej diagnostyki obrazowej przy wykorzystaniu współczesnych technik napromieniania. Należy zaznaczyć, iż artykuł ten nie odzwierciedla w pełni złożoności tematu, ale daje spojrzenie na współczesną diagnostykę obrazową wykorzystywaną w sekcji zwłok i możliwość obrazowania różnic w opisywanych przypadkach – utonięciu, ranach kłutych, postrzałach.

Computed tomography is a comprehensive research tool. Nowadays, it is most often associated with a standard, generally available diagnostic test performed in a hospital. However, the subject and aim of this article is to present computed tomography not as a commonly used examination but as an enrichment of post-mortem imaging diagnostics using modern irradiation techniques. It should be noted that this article does not fully reflect the complexity of the topic, but gives a look at modern imaging diagnostics used in the autopsy and the ability to depict the differences in the described cases - drowning, stab wounds, gunshots.

Civilizational development, terrorist attacks and, among other things, natural disasters make it increasingly necessary to identify corpses or human remains. In the above text the author wishes to present the problem of identification of corpses as well. Briefly discuss selected methods, while pointing to the interdependence of forensic techniques and methods used in forensic medicine. Identification is aimed at identifying a person's NN identity, but also determines whether a death has occurred due to natural causes or whether a criminal activity has occurred. On the basis of available literature, publications, consultations with experts and the use of web pages, brief descriptions of some methods of identification of corpses will be presented, as well as difficulties that may arise in the process of identifying the identity.

Analiza toksykologiczna może być wykonywana dla każdego rodzaju próbki, jednak najczęstszym materiałem do badań toksykologicznych jest krew, nierzadko analizowana wraz z innymi płynami ustrojowymi, a w przypadku toksykologii sądowej – tkankami pobranymi w czasie sekcji zwłok. Obecnie jednym z najważniejszych zadań leżących w sferze zainteresowania toksykologa sądowego jest analiza substancji uzależniających.

The toxicological analysis may be performed for each type of sample, but the most common material for toxicological studies is the blood, often analyzed along with other body fluids and tissue collected during autopsy. One of the most important tasks falling within the sphere of the forensic toxicologist interest is the analysis of addictive substances.
