Artykuł przedstawia System zarządzania bezpieczeństwem łańcucha dostaw jako efektywne narzędzie służące zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa i ciągłości operacji łańcucha dostaw. Zaprezentowano w nim uwarunkowania wpływające na wybór systemu oraz zidentyfikowano czynniki stanowiące największe trudności w trakcie procesu jego wdrażania. Ponadto wskazano organizacje świadczące usługi w procesie wdrażania i certyfikacji systemu opartego o wymagania normy ISO 28000 na rynku krajowym.

The contribution presents Security management systems for the supply chain as an effective tool to ensure safety and continuity of supply chain operations. It presents circumstances affecting the choice of an adequate system and identifies agents causing the greatest difficulties during the implementation process. Moreover, the article indicates the organizations performing services to enable implementation process and certification of the system based on requirements of the ISO 28000 standard on the domestic market.

Quality management system according to ISO 9001.2000 reguirements is the most widespread normalized system all over the world. Many requirements shown in above mentioned norm are also placed in other normalized systems, among others security management systems for the supply chain. This system can ful-fill requirements published in ISO 28000:2007 norm and can be implemented in every company. In the following article author has described security management systems for the supply chain generally. Differences and similarities has been analyzed and as a main difference between two analyzed normalized systems were indicated risk assessment and business process optimalization.
