Celem artykułu jest pokazanie wstępnej koncepcji systemu wspomagania podejmowania decyzji inwestycyjnych na podstawie zintegrowanej analizy kosztów i wielkości śladu węglowego w całym cyklu życia budynku. Koncepcja proponowana przez autorów dotyczy zintegrowanej analizy kosztów (LCC) oraz śladu węglowego w cyklu życia budynku (LCCF), reprezentującego wpływ na środowisko. Dokonano także analizy map bibliometrycznych otrzymanych w programie VOSviewer dotyczących problematyki śladu węglowego w budownictwie.

The aim of this article is to present the initial concept of an investment decision support system based on an integrated cost and carbon footprint analysis throughout the building’s life cycle. The concept proposed by the authors concerns integrated cost analysis (LCC) and the carbon footprint in the life cycle of a building (LCCF), representing the impact on the environment. An analysis of bibliometric maps obtained in the VOSviewer program concerning the problems of the carbon footprint in construction was also performed.

Data stored in average computer system usually is not unique, portions of stored data are duplicated. When duplicated data are stored in separate files containing source code of computer program of student homework, a possibility of cheating should be seriously considered. This paper presents software tools built, in order to detect re-use of pieces of code in supplied text files. Three aspects of information matching are considered: identity, similarity, and analogy. Built tools have proved useful in real life situations.

Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia najważniejsze fakty na temat Internetu oraz omawia problematykę i metodologię wyszukiwania w nim informacji, pod kątem ich największej przydatności dla szukającego. Przedstawione zostały sposoby i mechanizmy przeszukiwania stron internetowych, które gwarantują odnalezienie wiadomości najbardziej wartościowych pod względem zadanego tematu. Ponadto przedstawiono elementarne błędy, najczęściej popełniane przez przeszukujących zasoby internetowe. W artykule przedstawiono przykłady wyszukiwania informacji dotyczących hutnictwa, gdyż obszar ten jest stosunkowo słabo indeksowany przez większość wyszukiwarek internetowych.

This article presents most important facts about Internet and talks about common problems and methodology of searching this medium, in the way, it produces the best and most usable results for the searcher. Described methods and mechanisms shows how to browse web resources to find information that fits mostly to the selected subject of searching. Authors also explains most common mistakes made by users, who searches the Internet. Some examples on searching information about metallurgy are also presented in this article, as this area is not very well indexed by most popular web searching engines.
