In the paper, the methodology of experimental and simulation research aiding process of constructional feature selection of new series of types of aluminium carrying posts was elaborated. The presented object of the studies were material models made in scale 1:1 for static studies and in scale 1:2 for studies in wind tunnel. Constructional features of models were calculated on the basis of the results of simultaneously carried out computer simulations. The object of calculations were posts models worked out with application of the finite element method. Accordance criteria of calculated models with real objects have determined selected displacements in critical conditions of model loads.
