W tekście podjęto analizę, jak przestrzeń determinuje fazę projektową plastycznych kompozycji i jak dzieło plastyczne zmienia charakter odbioru przestrzeni, której było dedykowane, oraz technologię wytwarzania materiału ceramicznego do realizacji kompozycji mozaikowych. Rozdział zawiera rozważania nad hipotetycznymi przykładami plastycznych kompozycji mozaikowych, które osadzone w konkretnej przestrzeni kampusu Politechniki Poznańskiej w zasadniczy sposób mogą wpłynąć na jej odbiór.

The subject of the research work concerns aspects of how space determines the designing phase of plastic compositions, as well as how artworks influence the perception of the space they were dedicated to, and the technology of producing ceramic material for creating mosaic compositions. The publication contains thoughts on hypothetical examples of plastic mosaic compositions, which, installed in a specific space of the Poznań University of Technology campus, may significantly affect the perception of its space.

Nauczanie podstaw projektowania architektonicznego oraz zaznajamianie studentów z podstawowymi pojęciami z zakresu teorii kompozycji może od samego początku opierać się na kreacji układów złożonych. W roku akademickim 2019/2020 wejściowy projekt realizowany przez studentów pierwszego roku operował równocześnie pojęciem rytmu, dominanty, kanciastości i płynności. Uzyskane efekty pozwalają stwierdzić, że skomplikowanie zadania oraz nałożenie kilku pojęć przyniosło bardzo dobre, dostosowane do współczesnych wymagań efekty dydaktyczne.

Teaching the fundamentals of architectural design and familiarising students with basic compositional concepts can be based on creating complex systems from the beginning. In the 2019/2020 academic year, the entry project carried out by first-year students worked simultaneously with the concepts of rhythm, dominance, angularity and fluidity. The results obtained suggest that the complexity of the task and the superimposition of several concepts have led to very good didactic results that meet today's requirements.

The purpose of this study was to determine how global effort affects the rhythm of multi-joint coordination in the global task. We wanted to examine how this specific kind of fatigue impacts sense of rhythm. Methods: In this study, fourteen non-professsional runners performed two effort trials of different intensity, where speed was set individually according to the speed of running when participants reached lactate threshold. Before and after each effort trial they had to perform the rhythm test. Results: Two-way analysis of variance ANOVA did not reveal significant differences among the variables of pre- and post-effort rhythm test. It is suggested that these results are supported by the application of different movement strategies to compensate for fatigue, and possible motor learning effect of simple timing performance. Conclusions: In our opinion the training workout routine should include cyclic technical exercises after fatigue. Not only to develop and improve energetics of movement, but also to learn and perfect different movement patterns and develop novel movement strategies.

Dalekie, archaiczne cywilizacje mają swoją symboliczną moc. W hinduskiej sztuce stanu Kerala zachwyca bogactwo drewnianej, tradycyjnej architektury powstałej na tle niezwykłego nadmorskiego krajobrazu. Tam przez wieki rozwinęło się wielokulturowe społeczeństwo Indian, tworząc mozaikę kulturową o  nigdzie niespotykanym bogactwie. Poniższa próba syntezy naturalnych i kulturowych zasobów architektonicznych i krajobrazowych oparta została na dwu pojęciach: rytmu i symetrii. Rytm w sztuce Kerali łączy tak pozornie dalekie: taniec i zdobnictwo, codzienną pracę i następstwo świąt, zdobienie ciała i podziały ogrodzenia. Z kolei symetria osi kompozycyjnych dominuje w architekturze budynków, sprowadza się do równowagi planu i sylwet. Ponad tym rytm boskich i ludzkich postaci. Tak więc studiując poniższe rozważania, na chwilę zapamiętajmy się w porządku, który od tysiąca lat cechuje Indie.

The power of distant, ancient civilizations is often expressed symbolically. In the art of Kerala, the state in South India, the variety of wooden architecture and the landscape is enchanting. Against this background was developed the multicultural Indian society. There are two terms which describe in synthetic way the nature and kulture of Kerala. The rhythm is what joins the dance and ornamentation, everyday life and hardships, but also feasts, decoration of the neck and the fence of the building. The symmetry of composition in architecture is visible in the form of god or human in Indian art. So let us become absorbed in order which is typical for India since ages.

Powstało wiele obiektów współczesnej architektury, których detal w sposób czytelny, wyznacza rytmy na elewacji, tworzy jedyny w swoim rodzaju zapis muzyczny, w którym zamiast nut kompozytor-architekt zastosował detal architektoniczny, a elewacja budynku stała się swoistą pięciolinią.

There have been many buildings of modern architecture which clearly detail and mark out rhythms on the façade creating a unique musical notation in which, instead of notes, the composer-architect applies architectural detail and the elevation of the building has become a kind of stave.
