The aim of this paper is to prove, by means ofa computer demonstration, the possibility ofusing AutoCad in lectures on topographic projection' namely in the pań related to topographic surface (PT). In order to illustrate a proposed adaptation the following examples of operations on PT have been selected: a profile, characteristic points, lines and shapes ofPT, lines and surfaces resulting from operations on PT (a line of decline, a line ofslope, a line of planar intersectioą a slope surface). For each above-mentioned example, a computer demonstration consists oftwo parts: a 3-D drawing and a drawing on a projection plane. Both parts include a dynamic show ofcomputer screen images sequence. Authors think that AutoCad adapted in such a way helps students to absorb the subject oflecture.
