Increased Power And Energy Losses In Low Voltage Power Line Caused By Load Asymmetry

The paper presents a simulation model enabling determination of load resultant active power and energy losses, with regard to load in rural distribution low voltage power networks supplying the so called scattered consumers. The subject of examinations was a three-phase, four-wire, airborne low-voltage power line. The studied type of line is characteristic to, and most commonly used in, rural areas. The considerations included twenty-four-hour load measurement at representative consumers and at the beginning of the line – in a MV/LV transformer station. On the basis of the developed model, a simulation program enabling calculation of power and energy losses has been elaborated. Also, selected results of examinations concerning increase in active power and energy caused by load asymmetry for power line supplying two types of consumers: residential and production ones, have been presented.

Sprawdzono przydatność klasycznych metod prognozowania gospodarczego do predykcji rocznego zapotrzebowania na energię elektryczną odbiorców wiejskich. Okazało się, że prognozy stosunkowo dobrej jakości można uzyskać, odwzorowując roczne zapotrzebowanie na energię elektryczną odbiorców wiejskich za pomocą modeli niestrukturalnych, w których sprzedaż energii elektrycznej jest objaśniana przez liczbę mieszkańców oraz dochód rozporządzalny gospodarstw i cenę energii elektrycznej lub za pomocą modeli autoregresyjnych o drugim rzędzie opóźnienia.

The suitability of standard economic forecasting methods for prediction of annual demand for electric energy by rural consumers was examined. It turned out that the forecasts of relatively good quality can be obtained by depicting the annual demand for electric energy by rural consumers by means of non-structural models, where the sale of electric energy is interpreted by the number of residents and disposable household income and the price of electricity by means of autoregressive models with a second delay order.

Opracowano model zmian zapotrzebowania na energię elektryczną gospodarstw położonych na obszarach wiejskich przy wprowadzaniu ogrzewania elektrycznego pomieszczeń mieszkalnych. Przedstawiono m.in. strukturę zużycia energii na ogrzewanie budynków mieszkalnych oraz zamierzenia wiejskich odbiorców w zakresie wymiany stosowanego systemu ogrzewania pomieszczeń na ogrzewanie elektryczne.

The work presents a model of demand for electric power in households in rural areas when introducing electric heating in living quarters. The paper presents, among others, the structure of consumption of electric power in living quarters heating and the intensions of countryside subscribers as concerns replacement of the used heating system to an electric heating system.
