The paper presents the application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to seeking, tracking and laser illumination of a ground target. Kinematic relations were derived between UAV motion and that of the axis of the target seeking, tracking and the illumination system (TSTIS). The mathematical model of UAV motion accounted for the option of automatic change of the pre-set flight programme at the moment of target identification. The results of computer simulation of ground penetration and the tracking of the target located there from the UAV deck are presented by the figures.
