Celem opracowania jest analiza zapisów normy ISO 16355-1:2015 dedykowanej metodzie QFD i próba określenia wpływu ustanowienia standaryzacji na rozwój tej metody. Na podstawie badania treści normy i literatury dotyczącej QFD omówiono współczesny kształt metody wraz z narzędziami pomocniczymi. Otrzymane wyniki pozwoliły na potwierdzenie dojrzałości metodologicznej i empirycznej ujętej w standardzie metody. W konsekwencji sformułowano wniosek o potencjalnym pozytywnym wpływie ISO 16355-1:2015 na rozwój QFD i na przyspieszenie jej dyfuzji.

The aim of the study is to analyze ISO 16355-1:2015 standard dedicated to Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and to undertake an attempt to establish its effect to QFD’s development. Based on the literature review about QFD, the author discusses contemporary version of this approach for new product development with auxiliary tools. The obtained results allowed to conclude that QFD reached its methodological and empirical maturity of QFD. Consequently, the potential positive impact of ISO 16355-1:2015 on the evolution and development of QFD and on acceleration of its diffusion was stated.

Purpose: of this paper consists of identifying and prioritising control tests of a product design with integrating QFD and VE techniques according to use of the lean approach to increase the productivity of product design. Design/methodology/approach: of this research is the application of four quality houses at QFD (four matrices) and VE matrix and assessment table of lean approach in the form of a combinational process. Findings: of this research were the implementation of mentioned methodology for numerical application. Bullet-head drill (27.8 inch HSD) that was applied in oil and gas industries with 5.69 scores is more than moderate in related to lean of control tests, and it is 7.13 from 9 for average survey results of applied mentioned methodology, and also it is 0.825 for research reliability. Research limitations/implications: of this paper suggest that the wide use of the other non-statistical techniques of quality engineering can be achieved with simple programming in excel and lean approach. Even more advanced topics in fuzzy circumstance can be applied with this methodology. Originality/value: of this research is extracted from three matrices of QFD, one matrix of VE and assessment table of lean approach for prioritising the control tests in product design of bullet-head drill 27.8 inch HSD.

W pracy przedstawiono zasady i możliwości wykorzystania metody QFD (Quality Function Deployment) dla celów usprawnienia kontaktu pomiędzy wytwórcą (odlewnia), a odbiorcą (klient). Metoda pomaga określić zakres potrzeb odbiorcy i skutecznie na nie zareagować. Szczególnie istotne jest to we wspomnianych relacjach, w aspekcie produkcji masowej, gdzie wzajemny kontakt i wymiana informacji na temat np. parametrów technicznych wyrobu jest trudniejszy niż w przypadku produkcji jednostkowej.

On the job the discuss rules and possibilities of using the method QFD (Quality Function Deployment) for aims of improving the contact of the producer with the customer. The method helps to qualify the range of needs the receiver and efficiently react.
