W artykule zaprezentowano metody analogii ścinania i Gamma jako wybrane przykłady rozwiązywania problemów konstrukcyjno-materiałowych.

This paper presents aspects of designing proecological buildings and the design criteria were characterized. The research problem includes determining selected aspects of design. The research method involves the analysis of proecological conditions in architectural and construction design and the use of CLT materials and construction elements. This paper presents shear analogy methods and Gamma methods as selected examples of solving construction and material problems.

Rynek e-commerce rozwija się coraz bardziej dynamicznie, a zwiększona liczba wysyłanych zamówień może negatywnie wpływać na środowisko. Dzieje się tak szczególnie w przypadku wykorzystywania do pakowania przesyłek plastiku i niebiodegradowalnych opakowań. Istotne jest zatem wdrażanie zmian zgodnych z ideą less lub zero waste zarówno przez gigantów, jak i małe firmy. Wydawać by się mogło, że małe zmiany nie mają sensu, jednak od jednego kroku milowego postawionego w ciągu wielu lat, ważniejsze są te małe, ale wdrażane sukcesywnie. To zdecydowanie przepis na sukces w kontekście wprowadzania rozwiązań proekologicznych w funkcjonowaniu każdego przedsiębiorstwa, a realne korzyści naprawdę robią wrażenie.

Historic buildings are an essential component of the national heritage, constituting the fundamental determinants of the cultural identity of each society. The protection and conservation of monuments are a manifestation of care and evidence of their responsibility. The way owners deal with historic buildings has its specificity. Management, protection, and sharing should follow the conservation rules defined by law and good practices. After World War II, due to Poland's historical, political, and socio-economic transformations, some historic buildings gradually degraded and lost their original functions. Devastated monuments are often considered redundant by society. Effective use of them for new functions allows society to preserve unique elements of the landscape and develop the economic and social potential of the monument's surroundings. The renovation and adaptation of monuments to a new function should be preceded by a multi-level analysis allowing for the sustainable revitalisation of the building. The diversity of types of monuments, their state of preservation, location, and the form of ownership significantly affect the procedure. This article aims to present a holistic approach to the renovation of monuments and sustainable management of these objects. The concept is based on the results of questionnaire research and considers conservation guidelines, pro-environmental solutions, utility value and the socio-economic potential of the monument. The survey conducted with the owners of the monuments described in the article is the basis for determining the conditions for the sustainable revitalisation of monuments. The survey results will help develop a management model for this process. Sustainable revitalisation is shown on an example of an adaptation palace in Rzuchów for cultural and scientific purposes.

The progressive degradation of the environment makes implementing pro-ecological solutions in various areas of our lives more meaningful. These measures also apply to transport, responsible for around 30% of total carbon dioxide emissions in the EU. Implementing ecological solutions in road transport encounters various barriers resulting mainly from the specificity of transport tasks. One of the most promising solutions in the high-tonnage road transport sector seems to be LNG-fueled engines, which allow for similar operating conditions to traditional combustion vehicles. The article aims to identify the environmental benefits of the use of high-tonnage LNG-fueled vehicles in freight transport and to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the economic efficiency of this solution. The article assesses the effectiveness of using an LNG-fueled vehicle and a diesel-fueled vehicle that meets the highest exhaust emission standard in high-tonnage transport, both in terms of economy and an impact of these solutions on the environment. The research was carried out on a given route, taking into account variants of vehicle manning and simulations of transport cycle time. In conclusion, a discussion of the obtained results was carried out, emphasizing the factors determining the profitability of using high-tonnage vehicles with LNG drive or its lack. Regardless of the indicated lack of clarity in the economic assessment of the effectiveness of LNG drives in high-tonnage vehicles, the identified environmental benefits from implementing these solutions seem to be quite unequivocal. Thus, it should be expected that in the event of loss of economic competitiveness of these solutions, appropriate fiscal instruments should be used - especially since LNG drives in the policies of individual countries are considered pro-ecological solutions.

Wymaga obecnie nie tylko troski o zrównoważony rozwój, ale naprawy zaniedbań i uzupełnienia braków wymaganych do komfortowego funkcjonowania oraz dopełnienia oferty zarówno użytkowej, jak i kulturalnej. Drobna w skali architektura Podhala musi sprostać wyzwaniom współczesnym. Uświadomieniu możliwości rozwoju tego miejsca sprzyja prezentacja realizacji podziemnych z całego świata jako jednej z dróg rozwiązywania problemów przeciążonych miast. Przykłady wskazują sposoby rozładowania presji potrzeb, a zarazem odciążenie naziemnego programu usługowego miast i zwiększenie zasobów zieleni.

The paper presents the design concept for transformation of the string of: Legnicka, Lotnicza and Kosmonautów Streets in Wrocław - the main west transport route of the city, which connects the city center with large housing estates, the outskirts as well as with the airport, the Municipal Stadium and recreation and leisure areas (parks, the Ślęza riverbank areas, and the Glinianki swimming pool). The presented solution proposes one of the possibilities to transform the image of this string of streets by upgrading its landscape and utility values, as well as – what is important for environmental and natural reasons - by introducing new greenery and elements of the eco-friendly system of rain water management. The presented design concept, which was awarded with II prize in the national contest the Green arteries of Wrocław, is consistent with the tendencies to transform the streets of the dominant transport function, observed today worldwide in many cities and states – it is namely to transform thoroughfares into public spaces equipped with high-quality engineering and landscape solutions.

W artykule została przedstawiona koncepcja projektowa dotycząca przekształcenia ciągu ulic: Legnickiej, Lotniczej i Kosmonautów we Wrocławiu, będącego główną zachodnią osią komunikacyjną miasta, która łączy centrum z dużymi osiedlami mieszkaniowymi i dalej z obrzeżami, a także z lotniskiem, Stadionem Miejskim, oraz terenami rekreacyjno-wypoczynkowymi (parki, tereny nad rzeką Ślęzą i kąpielisko Glinianki). W przedstawionym rozwiązaniu proponuje się jedną z możliwości zmiany wizerunku tego ciągu ulic przez podniesienie jego walorów krajobrazowych i użytkowych, a także – co jest ważne ze względów ekologicznych i przyrodniczych przez wprowadzenie nowej zieleni oraz elementów proekologicznego systemu gospodarowania wodą opadową. Zaprezentowana koncepcja projektowa, nagrodzona II nagrodą w ogólnopolskim konkursie Zielone tętnice Wrocławia, jest zgodna z obserwowanymi obecnie w wielu miastach i krajach świata tendencjami ku przekształcaniu ulic o dominującej funkcji komunikacyjnej – arterii komunikacyjnych w przestrzenie publiczne wyposażone w wysokiej jakości rozwiązania inżynieryjne i krajobrazowe.

Przedstawione rozwiązania zilustrowano przykładami z praktyki gospodarczej.

With the development of logistic services’ market the demand on modern logistic facilities is still growing. Modern warehouses should meet different requirements: properly location, height of construction or equipment standard. Nowadays, the buildings prepared in accordance with the concept of sustainable development are gaining a rising attention. They are named as green and “equipped” with different ecological solutions. The attention of this paper is focused of such projects; the solutions presented in the article are illustrated with practical examples.
