The quality of construction products and compliance with their declared performance is of key importance for the safety and health of users of construction works. In extreme cases, defects in building materials can lead to a construction disaster. In order to assess what is the quality of construction products available on the Polish market over the period 2016-2020, the measurement results available on the website of the General Office of Building Supervision (GUNB) were analyzed. The paper presents 13 groups of construction products divided into two sets. The results of the analysis show that there are still construction products on the market that do not meet the declared requirements. In 2020, 44% of thermal insulation products and 38% of membranes did not meet at least one tested property. The quality of construction adhesives, flooring and flooring products is average (in adopted scale of assessment). Due to too few samples/tests, it is difficult to draw clear conclusions for doors, windows and bonded products and aggregates. In all of these product groups, the number of tests performed annually should be increased.

Rozporządzenie Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady Unii Europejskiej nr 305/2011 z dnia 9 marca 2011 nazywane jest Construction Products Regulation (w skrócie CPR), wymusza na wszystkich producentach kabli oferujących swoje wyroby na rynku Unii Europejskiej, badanie wyrobów pod względem reakcji na ogień. Jego celem jest podniesienie bezpieczeństwa budynków przez stosowanie przebadanych i sklasyfikowanych przewodów oraz kabli elektrycznych stosowanych do budowy instalacji elektrycznych.

W artykule omówiono wydane przez Parlament Europejski i Radę Unii Europejskiej rozporządzenie nr 305/2011 z dnia 9 marca 2011 r. o materiałach budowlanych, w skrócie CPR (Construction Products Regulation), w zakresie dotyczącym kabli i przewodów elektrycznych. Przedstawiono konsekwencje wprowadzenia rozporządzenia CPR dla producentów i projektantów. Zwrócono uwagę na opóźnienia uregulowań i prawnych dotyczących doboru przewodów CPR w instalacjach obiektowych, mimo że termin wprowadzenia obowiązywania rozporządzenia minął w dniu 1 lipca 2017 r.

The article discusses the Regulation No. 305/2011 of 9th March of 2011 on construction materials issued by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, abbreviated as CPR (Construction Products Regulation), in the scope of cables and electric wires. The consequences of the introduction of the CPR Regulation for producers and designers are presented. Attention was drawn to delays in the legal regulations regarding the selection of CPR wires in buildings installations, even though the date of the Regulation's implementation was expired on 1th July 2017.
