The nonlinear theory of isolated and continuously distributed dislocations in twodimensional physical systems such as surface crystals, films, biological membranes, etc., is presented. The behavior of these systems is assumed to be described by the mathematical model of the elastic shell of Cosserat's type. According to this model, a shell is represented by a deformable material surface each point of which having all six degrees of freedom of the rigid body. The vectorial field of finite rotations of the shell is kinematically independent of the field of displacements. We do not stipulate any restrictions on the magnitude of the displacements, rotations, and strains of the shell. The linear theory of continuously distributed disclinations and dislocations in elastic shells is stated in Zubov. The nonlinear theory of isolated disclinations within the shells of Cosserat's type is stated in Zubov.

W pracy przedstawiono nieliniową teorię dyskretnych i ciągłych rozkładów dyslokacji w dwuwymiarowych układach fizycznych, takich jak kryształy powierzchniowe, przepony i błonki biologiczne.
