Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie problematyki dotyczącej przebiegu procedury aktualizacji informacji zawartych w ewidencji gruntów i budynków w związku z naturalnym i trwałym zajęciem gruntów przez wodę płynącą i wydaniem decyzji administracyjnej o ustaleniu linii brzegu. W szczególności przedmiot oceny stanowi zagadnienie udziału geodety w realizacji prac związanych z opracowaniem projektu rozgraniczenia tych gruntów oraz przygotowania dokumentacji umożliwiającej dokonanie zmian w zakresie oznaczenia tych gruntów w katastrze nieruchomości, a także stosowanych w tym zakresie procedur geodezyjno-prawnych. Przedmiotem analizy uczyniono także zagadnienie prawne dotyczące aktualizacji baz danych ewidencyjnych w związku ze zmianą ex lege stanu prawnego tych gruntów.

The aim of the article is to present the issue related to the procedure of updating the information contained in the land and buildings register in connection with the natural and permanent occupation of land by flowing water and the issuance of an administrative decision establishing its shore line. In particular, the subject matter of the assessment is the participation of the surveyor in the preparation of the project of demarcation of such land and the documentation enabling changes in the designation in the real estate cadastre, as well as the geodetic-legal procedures used in the process. The subject of the study was also the legal issue concerning the updates of land registration databases in connection with the ex lege change of the legal status of these lands.
