W artykule przedstawiono sposoby, w jakie zintegrowane łańcuchy dostaw mogą wpływać na gospodarkę, oraz siłę tych oddziaływań.W rozdziale pierwszym omówiono znaczenie transportu w gospodarce światowej. W kolejnym rozdziale opisano czym są zintegrowane łańcuchy dostaw i jakie teoretyczne korzyści może nieść ich zastosowanie. Na koniec przedstawiono wpływ tychże łańcuchów na gospodarkę, poprzez zilustrowanie i omówienie sytuacji gospodarczych, w których kształtowaniu znaczącą rolę odgrywają właśnie zintegrowane łańcuchy dostaw funkcjonujące na szczeblu światowym czy też narodowym.

The article presentsmethods in which integrated supply chains may impact on economy and shows power of this impact. First chapter reference to the significance of transport in the global economy. Second chapter is about what integrated supply chains are and what theoretical advantages may bring application of them. In the end of the article presented impact of these supply chains on the economy by illustrating and discussing the economy situations in the formation of which substantial role is played by integrated supply chains, operating on international or global level.

In Poland, inland waterway transport has performed for centuries. An important feature of this transport remained the need to adapt fleet to the changing parameters of the waterway. For each waterways separate transport vessels were created. Capacity of the vessels was increased primarily by increasing the size of the ship on the line the waterline. The evolution of means of transport and their adjustment process also included on the river Vistula. In order to improve the waterway stream of the river course regulatory work was carried out . Further construction of barrages gives rise to successive bottlenecks for river transport. According to the authors the river Vistula could be again the road of waterway transport with changes in the fleet, which make possibility to load another ton and wouldn't drastically expanding its immersion.
