Często istotne jest rejestrowanie tras pojazdów należących do przedsiębiorstw. Narzędziem, ułatwiającym to zadanie mogą być zdobywające dużą popularność urządzenia mobilne – a w szczególności smartfony często znajdujące się w posiadaniu pracowników firmy. Istotnym zagadnieniem jest automatyczne wykrywanie jazdy samochodem i co równie ważne odróżnienie tego ruchu od innych typowych rodzajów ruchu użytkownika urządzenia mobilnego. W artykule omówiono wyniki testów implementacji metody rozpoznającej rodzaj ruchu. Dla rejestrowanych parametrów ruchu obliczane są bieżące statystyki (dla ostatnich 10 sekund) a następnie sprawdzane są zaproponowane kryteria. Uwzględniono sytuacje, w których urządzenie mobilne znajduje się w spoczynku, użytkownik urządzenia idzie, biegnie lub jedzie samochodem.

Frequently it is important to track the movement of company vehicles. A tool that can be used for that purpose are very popular mobile devices – and especially smartphones. Most employees carry their smartphones everywhere. An important issue connected with this use of mobile devices is automatic detection of vehicle movement. It is also important to be able to distinguish vehicle movement apart from other typical forms of mobile device user movements, such as walking and running. This paper presents results of implementation of a method that is able to detect type of motion. For registered motion parameters a set of current statistics is computed (for a window of 10 seconds). Then the values are compared against proposed criteria. The following situations were taken into account: the device is stationary, the user of the device is walking, running or driving.
