In this paper some problems related to the food packaging features and their influences on the robotic logistic systems in food and some other goods transportation systems as well as some of expected food packaging features have been presented. Special attention has been paid to the so called 'ptm' processes, i.e. reloading (p), transportation (t), and storage (m), commonly used in the food and other industries. Furthermore, the features of logistic systems and the relationships between them and packaging of the variety of food products too, have also been taken into account. Finally, the main tasks regarding expected packaging features together with the LCA, EIA, and TTI when looking for the minimum cost of the packaging have been described.
