Optymalizacja kolejności pakowania towarów na paletach

W artykule analizowane są możliwości wykorzystania robota do pakowania towarów na paletach. Jeżeli towary mają zróżnicowane wymiary, to istotna jest kolejność ich ładowania. Po pierwsze, żeby robot mógł umieścić towar na częściowo załadowanej palecie, musi mieć swobodny dostęp do miejsca jego ułożenia, tzn. miejsce to nie może być zasłonięte. Po drugie, sposób wyboru kolejnych towarów do pakowania może mieć wpływ na czas zapakowania palety, gdyż dostarczenie poszczególnych towarów z magazynu może być mniej lub bardziej czasochłonne. W artykule przedstawiona jest metoda wyznaczania kolejności umieszczania towarów na palecie przez robota, biorąca pod uwagę oba te względy. W zaproponowanym algorytmie wykorzystuje się grafowy model reprezentujący sposób zapakowania palety.

In the paper the capability of using a robot to pack goods on pallets is analyzed. If the goods have different dimensions, the sequence in which they are loaded is important. First, in order to place the goods on a partially loaded pallet, the robot must have free access to their location, i.e. the location must not be covered. Second, the way in which the next goods to be packed are selected can affect the time it takes to load a pallet, since it can take more or less time to deliver individual goods from the warehouse. This paper presents a method for determining the order in which goods should be placed on a pallet by a robot, taking into account both of these considerations. The proposed algorithm uses the graph model representing a pallet packing.

In the logistics processes of trade business, goods delivered from warehouses to retailers are often transported on pallets. The paper concerns the issue of using a robot for automatic palletizing. In order to put an item in a given place on a partially loaded pallet, the robot must have free access to that place, i.e., the place must not be covered. A graph model and a formalized method for determining the sequence of putting goods on a pallet is proposed to avoid such collisions. It is also shown that not every packing pattern can be loaded by a robot. However, some pallet loading approaches have been identified that always guarantee a feasible robot packing.

Artykuł dotyczy zagadnienia automatycznego pakowania palet przez robota. W procesach logistycznych branży handlowej towary dostarczane z magazynów do sklepów sprzedaży detalicznej są transportowane na paletach. W artykule analizowane są sposoby układania i rozmieszczenia towarów na palecie pod kątem możliwości realizacji takich upakowań przez robota. Żeby robot mógł umieścić towar w danym miejscu na częściowo załadowanej palecie, musi mieć do tego miejsca swobodny dostęp, tzn. miejsce to nie może być zasłonięte. Zaproponowano grafowy model reprezentacji upakowań i sformalizowaną metodę wyznaczania kolejności ustawiania towarów na palecie przez robota. Pokazano też, że nie każdy wzór upakowania da się ułożyć przy użyciu robota.

In the paper the problem of an automatic pallet loading with the usage of a robot is considered. In the logistic processes of trade business commodities are distributed from stores to retailers on pallets. In the paper the methods of pallet loading are analyzed in terms of the robot packing abilities. In order to put an item in a given place in a partially loaded pallet, robot needs to have free access to this place, so it cannot be blocked. A graph model is proposed to represent the relative positions of items on pallets and a method for sequencing of robot packing operations is formulated. It is also shown that not all patterns of pallet packing can be realized by a robot.
