This study examined the effects rheological properties of different composition kaolin and kaolin geo-filler in polypropylene composites. Polypropylene composites with varying composition of kaolin geo-filler 0 wt%, 2 wt%, 4 wt%, 6 wt%, 8 wt%, and 10 wt% was prepared and compared with polypropylene composite with raw kaolin. Kaolin is an aluminosilicate based mineral filler was used to prepare geopolymer paste by combining with alkaline activator solution. The polypropylene composite was compounded using a twin-screw extruder and the melt flow index was determined by a constant weight pressure of 2.16 kg at 230°C in 10 min. Knowing the melt flow index is necessary to predict and control the process, the study has demonstrated that the composition of kaolin filler and kaolin geo-filler affects the melt flow, melt density and surface morphology at varies composition. Composites with kaolin geo-filler have demonstrated high melt flow index process and having better distribution and flow.

In this paper, ionic gelation method was adopted to produce nanocapsules (CNs) encapsulated tuberose fragrance with chitosan (CS) and sodium tripolyphosphate (TPP) as wall materials. The effects of CS/TPP mass ratio, pH value of CS solution, molecular mass of CS and tuberose fragrance (TF) concentration on particle size and particle size distribution (PDI) of chitosan nanocapsules encapsulated tuberose fragrance (CNTs) were investigated systematically. CNTs were characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that CNTs were successfully prepared. The optimum preparation conditions were as follows: CS/TPP mass ratio 5:1, pH of CS solution 4.0, and molecular mass of CS 150 kda. CNTs emulsions were also systematically investigated by steady-state shear and oscillatory shear measurements respectively. The rheological behaviors of CNTs were obtained.

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy są kratowe dźwigary zespolone z pasem górny skrzynkowym, o pasach z drewna i ciągłych przewiązkach z płyty wiórowej, słupkach z drewna i krzyżulcach ze stali. Systemy te stanowią lekkie przekrycia dachowe, o korzystnej geometrii z uwagi na właściwości sprężysto-wytrzymałościowe zastosowanych materiałów. Zastosowanie z drewna i materiałów drewnopochodnych oraz wymóg dotrzymania stanów granicznych użytkowania stwarza konieczność oszacowania ugięcia trwałego po latach eksploatacji. W pracy podjęto próbę analizy reologicznej takich systemów.

Complex lattice girder with a box-type top flange, with wooden flanges and continuous lacings made of chipboard, wooden posts and steel cross braces make the subject-matter of this paper. These systems constitute light roof covers, showing an advantageous geometry considering the flexible and strength properties of the materials used. The requirement to meet the limit states of the use creates a need to estimate the permanent deflection after years of operation. An attempt was made in the paper to carry out a rheological analysis of such systems.
