The article describes the purpose and the essence of business process modeling, presents the basic modeling methods, and with the help of the EPC and BPMN notation two models of processes have been developed: the reverse logistics process and the storage process.

The article includes the analysis of current legal acts in Poland and European Union, which concerns the management of coal fly ash in organizational and technical aspects. The main aim of this paper is to identify the responsibilities and the legal obligations of entities dealing with the coal fly ash management, and to create the model of the flow of documents and information between these entities. Moreover the paper shows technical conditions of management of coal fly ash and describes the role and tasks of the authorities that supervise the observance the environmental laws.

Artykuł zawiera analizę obowiązujących w Polsce i UE aktów prawnych dotyczących gospodarowania popiołami lotnymi w aspekcie organizacyjnym i technicznym. Głównym celem było wskazanie odpowiedzialności i obowiązków prawnych podmiotów gospodarujących popiołami lotnymi oraz stworzenie modelu obiegu dokumentów i informacji pomiędzy tymi podmiotami. Ponadto w pracy przedstawiono techniczne uwarunkowania gospodarki popiołami lotnymi oraz opisano rolę i zadania organów sprawujących nadzór nad przestrzeganiem przepisów prawnych w zakresie ochrony środowiska.

W pracy omówiono podstawy modelowania łańcuchów dostaw z wykorzystaniem matematycznej teorii grafów. Zaprezentowano podstawy teoretyczne analizy łańcuchów dostaw w aspekcie optymalizacji przepływów w sieciach i analizy czasowo-kosztowej na sieciach stochastycznych. Analizę poparto przykładami na rzeczywistych międzynarodowych łańcuchach dostaw elektronicznych systemów alarmowych do obiektów. W szczególności zaprezentowano analizę łańcucha logistyki zwrotnej, która ma istotne znaczenie w branży ochrony mienia. W zakończeniu sformułowano wnioski ogólne i szczegółowe z pracy.

In the paper the fundamentals of supply chain modelling with the use of mathematical theory of graphs have been described. Theoretical basics of supply chain analysis have been resented in aspects of flow optimization in networks and time-cost analysis in stochastics supply networks. The analysis has been backed up with the examples based on real international supply chains of electronic security systems for buildings and premises. In particular the analysis of chain reverse logistics has been presented, which is of crucial importance in business of security systems. At the end the general and particular conclusions have been formulated.

Do analizy wykorzystano wskaźniki stosowane w przedsiębiorstwie takie jak: wskaźnik niezgodności ogółem, wskaźnik niezgodności użytecznych, wskaźnik złomu oraz wskaźnik reklamacji.

The paper presents an analysis of way of location non-conforming products in one of the steel company works. For the analysis have used the indicators used in the company, such as: complains indicator, total non-conforming products indicator, useful non-conforming products indicator and scrap indicator.

The paper deals with a highly topical issue og Logistics which is called Reverse logistics. The flows of products in supply chains don't end in the moment when they reach the customer. Many products lead second, third or even fourth life after accomplishing their original function. It means that products can generate the value in supply chain more than once. To capture this value we must expand the original supply chain to include new processes that we call reverse logistics. The key to maximizing the value is coordinating the successive product uses in supply chain.

The paper aims to review and discuss the major problems of reverse and green logistics. The main task is to analyze the development of the term 'green logistics' as well as describing the current situation and role of environmentalism in today's world and particularly in logistics industry. The paper also aims to present and analyze the main strategies of green logistics, to describe the role of green logistics in transportation system and to analyze the relationships between green and reverse logistics. Since the environmental problems are particularly relevant nowadays, logistical system is no exception. Recently, the issue of green logistics or environmentally-friendly logistics has become one of the primary concerns for organizations and it is worth analyzing. In the present article, efforts are made to define a concept of reverse logistics and show its applicability to solving business problems.

Poniższy referat ma na celu wyszczególnienie i omówienie głównych problemów tzw. "logistyki zwrotów" oraz tzw. "zielonej logistyki" w aspekcie opisu aktualnego stanu wiedzy na ten temat oraz ich dzisiejszej roli w ochronie środowiska i ich znaczeniu przemysłowym. Ponadto referat prezentuje główne założenia strategii "zielonej logistyki" oraz jej rolę w systemach transportowych i powiązania z logistyką realizacji zwrotów.
