Business process models are subject to changing requirements. The purpose of this paper is to present methods that enable computer-aided recomposition of process models, understood as using existing processes to design new ones. This procedure involves dividing existing BPMN diagrams into smaller components, from which new models can be created. This kind of model generation can be performed manually by the user or run automatically, based on the Constraint Programming technique. The presented algorithms can improve the process of model redesign and allow users to avoid typical anomalies that may occur in the modeling phase.

Zaprezentowano podstawowe problemy związane z dostosowaniem organizacji (przedsiębiorstwa) do działania w warunkach konkurencji rynkowej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem technik informatycznych. Przedstawiono pięciofazowy model transformacji organizacji, poczynając od stosowania pojedynczych rozwiązań informatycznych, a na zmianie zakresu działania korporacji (organizacji sieciowej) kończąc. Problemy te zgrupowano wokół istotnych, z punktu widzenia powodzenia przedsięwzięcia informatycznego, obszarów formułowania strategii informatyzacji, aspektów organizacyjnych (restrukturyzacyjnych) i integracyjnych.

The paper presents basic problems of IT use experienced when adapting an enterprise to operate under market conditions and in competitive environment. Attention is paid to the role of IT in the building of strategic position of the organization and its use in a 5-phase enterprise transformation model, from use of single applications to changes in the work scope (network organization) of the corporation. These problems are grouped around areas most significant for a successful IT enterprise, concerning preparation of computerization strategy and organizational and integration aspects.
