Gigantyczny wzrost natężenia ruchu drogowego oraz zwiększenie całkowitej masy pojazdów ciężarowych powodują przyśpieszenie zużycia technicznego nawierzchni drogowych, w tym autostradowych. W związku z tym niezbędne są zabiegi remontowe, które przywracają nawierzchnie drogowe do stanu pozwalającego na ich bezpieczną eksploatację.

A major increase in the intensity of road traffic and an increase in the total mass of trucks have caused the acceleration of the technical wear of road surfaces, including motorways. Therefore it is necessary to carry out renovation works which would restore road surfaces to a condition that allows for their safe operation. The article presents the renovation of the surface of the A4 motorway carried out in the years 2014-2018 from km 153+864 (road node Bielany Wrocławskie) to km 193+956 (road node Brzeg). The division of the individual stages of the renovations into sections as well as the scope of works are described, the contractors and supervisory entities are indicated. The total costs of the renovation are also presented.
