Turbidimetric method was employed to study the combinations of water glasses having different silicate moduli and selected salts of transition metal elements. Basing on the character of turbidity curves it was found that colloidal silicates of transition metal elements are formed in the initial phase of the turbidimetric measurement. No increase of turbidity in time is observed. Forming of the silicate depends on the silicate modulus and molecular composition of water glass solutions. This finding is confirmed with the relative sizes of molecules of formed silicates as well as with the values of average radius of their molecules.
