All universities are responsible for assessing the quality of education. One of the required factors is the results of the students’ research. The procedure involves, most often, the preparation of the questionnaire by the staff, which is voluntarily answered by students; then, the university staff uses the statistical methods to analyze data and prepare reports. The proposed EQE method by the application of the fuzzy relations and the optimistic fuzzy aggregation norm may show a closer connection between the students’ answers and the achieved results. Moreover, the objects obtained by the application of the EQE method can be visualized by using the t-SNE technique, cosine between vectors and distances of points in five-dimensional space.

The paper offers a solution to the problem of material flow allocation within a virtual enterprise by using artificial intelligence methods. The research is based on the use of fuzzy relations when planning for optimal transportation modes to deliver components for manufactured products. The Fuzzy Logic Toolbox is used to determine the optimal route for transportation of components for manufactured products. The methods offered have been exemplified in the present research. The authors have built a simulation model for component transportation and delivery for manufactured products using the Simulink graphical environment for building models.

Content available remote Efficient similarity measures for texts matching
EN
Calculation of similarity measures of exact matching texts is a critical task in the area of pattern matching that needs a great attention. There are many existing similarity measures in literature but the best methods do not exist for closeness measurement of two strings. The objective of this paper is to explore the grammatical properties and features of generalized n-gram matching technique of similarity measures to find exact text in electronic computer applications. Three new similarity measures have been proposed to improve the performance of generalized n-gram method. The new methods assigned high values of similarity measures and performance to price with low values of running time. The experiment with the new methods demonstrated that they are universal and very useful in words that could be derived from the word list as a group and retrieve relevant medical terms from database . One of the methods achieved best correlation of values for the evaluation of subjective examination.

Content available remote Effective similarity measures in electronic testing at programming languages
EN
The purpose of this study is to explore the grammatical proper ties and features of generalized n-gram matching technique in electronic test at programming languages. N-gram matching technique has been success fully employed in information handling and decision support system dealing with texts but its side effect is size n which tends to be rather large. Two new methods of odd gram and sumsquare gram have been proposed for the improvement of generalized n-gram matching together with the modification of existing methods. While generalized n-grams matching is easy to generate and manage, they do require quadratic time and space complexity and are therefore ill-suited to the proposed and modified methods which work in quadratic in nature. Experiments have been conducted with the two new methods and modified ones using real life programming code assignments as pattern and text matches and the derived results were compared with the existing methods which are among the best in practice. The results obtained experimentally are very positive and suggested that the proposed methods can be successfully applied in electronic test at programming languages.

W pracy przedstawiono pewne podejście do analizy pracy systemów słabostrukturalnych, wykorzystujące mapę kognitywną do opisu wzajemnych relacji pomiędzy kluczowymi czynnikami. Niepewność związana z nieznajomością dokładnej struktury obiektu oraz z niedokładnością odczytu symptomów została zminimalizowana dzięki zastosowaniu wnioskowania rozmytego. Przedstawiono analizę symulacyjną dynamicznego monitorowania diagnostycznego przykładowego systemu.

In the paper, certain approach to the analysis of work of low-structural systems, using cognitive map to describe relations between crucial factors, is presented. Uncertainty, connected with a shortage of the knowledge on the system's structure and imprecise reading the symptoms, has been minimized thank to use fuzzy concluding. The simulation analysis of diagnostic monitoring hypothetical system is also included.

W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe pojęcia logiki rozmytej, omówiono pojęcia niepewności i nieprecyzyjności informacji. Przedstawiono własności zbiorów rozmytych i działania na zbiorach rozmytych. Omówiono zasadę rozszerzania. Wprowadzono pewne elementy istotne dla rozmytego rozszerzenia modeli danych, m.in. zdefiniowano zbiór rozmyty i rozkład możliwości, przedstawiono jednostkę reprezentacji wiedzy jaką jest zmienna lingwistyczna, wprowadzono relacje rozmyte. Znajomość tych pojęć jest niezbędna do projektowania rozmytych relacyjnych modeli baz danych.

The work presents basic notations of fuzzy logic, uncertainty and impreciseness information. It presents properties of fuzzy sets and operations on fuzzy sets. The extensions rule is discussed. Some elements that are important to fuzzy extension of data models is introduced, for example fuzzy set, are defined and possibility distribution, unit of knowledge representation (linguistic variable) and fuzzy relation is presented. The knowledge of these notations is required to design fuzzy relational database models.
