Choosing a proper method to predict and timely prevent the complications of diabetes could be considered a significant step toward optimally controlling the disease. Since in medical research only small sample sizes of data are available and medical data always includes high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity, a type-2 fuzzy regression model seems to be an appropriate procedure for finding the relationship between outcome and explanatory variables in medical decision-making. In this paper, a new type-2 fuzzy regression model based on type-2 fuzzy time series concepts is used to forecast nephropathy in diabetic patients. Results in two examples show model efficiency. The use of such models in diabetes clinics is proposed.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie podstawowych pojęć systemów rozmytych oraz zwięzły opis najważniejszych metod modelowania matematycznego. Zebrane informacje powinny zainteresować większość pedagogów, szczególnie zajmujących się zarządzaniem szkołą, ze względu na udane implementacje systemów rozmytych w zarządzaniu. Przedstawiono klasyczne metody przydatne w działalności nauczyciela dla określania związków ilościowych i jakościowych w ocenie zajęć dydaktycznych oraz metody współczesne wykorzystujące aparat matematyczny zbiorów rozmytych. W podsumowaniu stwierdzono, że do budowy modeli logiki rozmytej w wielu przypadkach dużą przydatność mają metody sieci neuronowych.

The paper goal is to describe an essential ideas of fuzzy systems and most important modelling methods as well. Assembled information should be interested for pedagogues, especially school managers, because of successfully implementations of fuzzy systems in management. The classic methods were presented to use by teachers to define quantitative and qualitative connections for lessons estimation and the modern methods as well, with mathematical appliances of fuzzy systems. For modeling of fuzzy systems there are a lot of cases of neural networks applied, concluded.

In this paper we present fuzzy linear regression for estimating of parameters. The regression method has been used to creating the fuzzy description of some economic data.

W referacie przedstawiono podstawy regresji liniowej sformułowane w kategoriach zbiorów rozmytych. Metoda rozmytej regresji liniowej została zastosowana do określenia modelu liniowego pewnych danych ekonomicznych.
