Spectral irradiance (350-1100 nm) of different kind of ground surface (bare soil and bare soil of diameter 15, 35, 55 ,95 cm surrounded with grass) which affected the spectral composition of reflected sunlight was investigated. The spectral irradiance was measured in the sunny (dry and wet surface) and cloudy days in the differed distances from surface (from 10 to 150 cm) using portable spectroradiometer (LI - 1800, LI-COR). The albedo of each object in the range 350-1100 nm had maximum on a height 30 - 90 cm above surface, and albedo of the dry surface was bigger than on the wet surface. The experiment showed that a surface covered with grass growing near or at a far distance received more radiation in the range of far red (reflected by green tissues) than surface bare of soil. Ratio FR7R of bare soil is about 1:1 and of grass 4,5:1. From that albedo of bare soil and albedo of grass have there is a different spectral composition. The highest value of ratio FR/R was in reflected irradiance on height a 30-60 cm. The albedo in the PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation ) was similar in the investigated plots. The previous trials with different crops on these plots (Doroszewski, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001) were shown an effect of ground surface on development, habit, and yield of plant. The results were seen that several kinds of surfaces with different albedo are inrpacted by spectral irradiance.
