New sports and recreation equipment which is put on market, should meet defined safety requirements. This article presents two stands for testing recreation devices which execute EU qualification test: stand for shock-resistance testing of construction and seat of swings, and stand for testing strength training equipment.

The paper presents the constructional solutions of two testers designed to the functionality and safety tests of such sport-recreational devices as: training benches, stands on weight, goal to football, hand ball and hockey on grass as well as different similar devices. The testers were adapted to assessment the fulfilment of requirements contained in the standards EN (PN-EN) relating the specified types of sport equipment.
