New canonical forms weakly positive linear systems are introduced. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the positive realisations in canonical forms for weakly positive linear are established. Expilcit formulae for the positive realisations in canonical forms are given and illustrated by two numerical examples.

It is shown that any rational improper 2D matrix can be realised by a singular 2D first Fornasini-Marchesini model. A procedure for computation of a realisation being a singular 2D general model for any given rational improper 2D matrix is presented.
