Krzyżtopór castle in Ujazd - palazzo in fortezza, ancient wonderful aristocratic property - is unique in the world. This exceptional beuty building still awaiting for serious treating by the Ministry the Culture and the National Heritage by her current owner and user - commune Iwaniska (district Opatów). This Castle is a national treasure - a priceless cultural good! A few years ago, the castle was carried out renovation and adaptation, designed to make it brand product of Świętokrzyskie province. The evaluation of these works is not clear and easy - concerned introduced new volume, forms and structures. Worried that in contemporary protection of monuments of architectural heritage is still guided by stereotypes from hundred years ago. Protecting historical substance of the castle we still can not decide how much to allow changes in its current state – which well-known and well-documented elements reconstruct? The question is - how to restore castle to its former glory and usability without introducing contemporary creations of contemporary restore the castle to its former glory and usability.

Zamek Krzyżtopór w Ujeździe – palazzo in fortezza, dawna wspaniała siedziba magnacka – to unikat w skali światowej. Ta wyjątkowej urody budowla od półwiecza czeka na odbudowę, godną tego zabytku. Zamek jest skarbem narodowym – bezcennym dobrem kultury! Kilka lat temu na zamku przeprowadzono prace remontowo-adaptacyjne, mające uczynić go markowym produktem województwa świętokrzyskiego. Ocena tych prac nie jest jednak jednoznaczna – niepokoją wprowadzone nowe kubatury, formy i konstrukcje. Niepokoi, że we współczesnej ochronie zabytków dziedzictwa architektonicznego wciąż kierujemy się stereotypami sprzed stu lat... Chroniąc zabytkową substancję wciąż nie można zdecydować w jakim stopniu dopuścić rekonstrukcję elementów zamku znanych i dobrze udokumentowanych. Jak unikając współczesnych kreacji przywrócić zamkowi dawną świetność i użyteczność.

Reactivation of antecedens by overt versus null pronouns : Evidence from Persian

In Persian, a construction exists in which a gap can optionally be replaced by an overt pronoun. A self-paced reading study (110 participants) suggests that the overt pronoun results in deeper encoding (higher activation) of the antecedent noun, presumably because of richer retrieval cue specifications during antecedent retrieval at the pronoun; this higher activation has the consequence that the antecedent is easier to retrieve at a subsequent stage. This provides new evidence for reactivation effects of the type assumed in the cue-based retrieval model of parsing (Lewis and Vasishth 2005), and shows that dependency resolution is not simply a matter of connecting two codependents; the retrieval cue specification has a differential impast on processing.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono przemiany przestrzeni miejskich w kontekście współczesnego rozwoju aktywności wokół dużych centrów handlowych, co wydaje się być najistotniejszym powodem wyprowadzenia "życia miejskiego" w czasie wolnym poza centrum. Tak zarysowany problem jest zwięzłą odpowiedzią na poszukiwania sposobu reanimacji organizmu miejskiego przez ponowne wzbudzenie aktywności w "sercu" każdego miasta - rynku. Podkreślono zmiany kulturowe, jakie towarzyszą współczesnej, nowo kształtującej się metodzie spędzania czasu wolnego. Wyróżniono wymagania, jakie powinny towarzyszyć skutecznej rewitalizacji centrów miast i scharakteryzowano problem spadku znaczenia centralnej części tkanki miejskiej - rynku oraz przejęcie jego funkcji przez galerie, centra handlowe i supermarkety.

This paper presents the changes in urban areas in the context of the contemporary development of human activity around shopping centers, which seems to be the most important reason for moving "city life" outside city centers during leisure time. Presenting the problem in this way provides a concise solution to the search for a means of revitalization of urban areas through reactivating "the heart" of every city or town - the main square. This paper emphasizes the cultural changes accompanying the new, currently-forming way of spending free time. It highlights the requirements that ought to accompany the effective revitalization of city centers. In addition, it describes the problem of the decrease in the importance of the central city area, which is the main square, and taking over its function by shopping galleries, shopping centers and supermarkets.
