The investigations were conducted in 2002-2003 on degraded mould made from loess. Two cultivars of Phleum pratense L. were taken into account 36 SE and 50 SE, in which at the moment of full heading percentage of stalk, leaves and inflorescences as well as content and location of raw ash and macroelements were estimated. In both cultivars stalks revealed the highest participation in green mass, next were share of inflorescences, the lowest level was found for leaves. 36 SE cultivar was characterized. with higher nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content when compared with 50 SE cultivar. On the other hand, 50 SE cultivar showed higher calcium, sodium and usually magnesium content.

U obu odmian największą część w masie roślinnej stanowiły źdźbła, następnie kwiatostany, a najmniejszą liście.
