The purpose of this paper was to evaluate thermodynamic equilibrium characteristics of gaseous phase after pyrolysis of birch and palm. Results of calculations provide clearer insight into several parameters on the gas produced by pyrolysis of studied biomasses.

Contemporary status in building heating is characterized by a high consumption, heat pipe distribution losses and uneven heat supply. The aim of the paper is to find out of scale factors, that influent building, respectively rooms thermal balance and detect a suitable manner of building operation (attenuations, heat gains exploitation…) aimed at operational heating costs reduction. A precondition remains of preservation of desiderative thermal comfort in heating rooms, arise from the operation for given building variant. Measurements and simulations confirmed possibility of reserves in energy supply operational regime in linkage on a buildings operation. Design of a suitable heating regime results from measurements and simulation with respect of heat gains, heating source output possibilities and building operational regime at heating breaks using, heating attenuation regimes and heating full operation.

W pracy omówiono metodę uśrednień statystycznych (ensemble averaging) - jedną z metod używanych do opisu wymiany ciepła w ośrodkach o złożonej strukturze. Zdefiniowano pojęcia różnych wielkości makroskopowych i przedstawiono sposoby opisu statystycznego struktury ośrodków niejednorodnych. Przedstawiono przykładowo równania bilansowe, związki konstytutywne dla wielkości makroskopowych opisujących przepływ ciepła drogą konwekcji i przewodzenia ciepła oraz makroskopowe warunki brzegowe stosowane przy analizie procesów cieplnych związanych z kontaktem dwóch ciał stałych. Krótko omówiono pojęcie lokalnej, makroskopowej, równowagi termicznej.

The statistical method of the ensemble averaging was presented in the paper. The method is used in description of heat transfer processes in media of complex structure. Definition of macroscopic quantities was given and different ways of Statistical description of the microsture of the media were discussed. As one example macroscopic energy equation with respective macroscopic constitutive relations were presented for the process of heat transfer by simultaneous conduction and convection in heterogenous medium. As another example heat transfer through interface of two contacting rough surfaces was discussed. Short discussion of local thermal equilibrium on the macroscopic scale was also given.
