In the theory of optimization an essential role is played by the differentiability of convex functions. In this paper we shall try to extend the results concerning differentiability to a larger class of functions called strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex. Let (X, (|.||) be a real Banach space. On uniformly approximate convex and strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex functions

In the paper the equivalence of the notions of uniformly approximate convex functions and strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex functions will be presented. As a consequence we obtain that uniformly approximate convex functions are Frechet differentiable on residual sets.
