In this article is drawn attention to the social aspects of improving the quality of production. The relationship between the development of technology and society is still underappreciated. There is a vital need to make technical managers aware of the rules governing interpersonal relationships. This theoretical article aims to bring the basic concepts of social sciences closer to recipients focused on constant improvement of the production quality. The essence of the work process is primarily the fact that it is done by a human being and mostly in a group of people. This is related to the consequences of sociological nature to which managers do not pay enough attention. Instead of focusing on social and interpersonal problems they are dealing with organizational issues. The conclusion of consideration leads to underlining the need for constant improvement - manager training in social engineering principles.

Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranego narzędzia zarządzania jakością w zakładzie zajmującym się produkowaniem spodni. Po przeprowadzonych badaniach, powstał diagram Pareto-Lorenza, który ukazuje przyczyny poprzez, które powstaje wyrób nie spełniający wymagań klientów, normy. Diagram drzewa ukazuje działania zapobiegawcze jak i korygujące do powstałych przyczyn.

The aim of this article is to present the selected quality management tool in a trousers production facility. After the research, a Pareto-Lorenz diagram has been developed, which shows the causes by which the product does not meet the requirements of the customer. The tree diagram shows the preventive and corrective actions for the causes.

Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranego narzędzia zarządzania jakością w zakładzie zajmującym się wytwarzaniem cementu. Efektem analizy jest prezentacja diagramu Ishikawy, który ukazuje przyczyny powstawania wyrobu niespełniającego wymagania klientów, jak i również wymogów znormalizowanych.

The aim of this article is to present the selected quality management tool in a cement manufacturing plant. The result of the analysis is the presentation of Ishikawa diagram, which has shown the cause why the product does not meet the requirements of customers as well as the normalized requirements.

There is in a paper presentation of an analysis of the quality of production carried out on the example of the production of raw coal in selected mines. The aim of the publication was to analyze the indicators to determine the extent to which the objectives have been met, and thus whether the process is of sufficient efficiency.

Jakość produktu finalnego kształtowana jest w przedsiębiorstwie od momentu jego projektowania, poprzez przygotowanie i realizację procesów wytwórczych do wykonania produktu gotowego. W celu dostarczania „dobrych jakościowo" produktów do klienta, organizacja powinna dbać o ich jakość w całym cyklu produkcyjnym. W tym celu dokonuje pomiaru i oceny jakości produktu i/lub procesu realizacji. Celem przeprowadzonych badań była analiza procesu ujawniania niezgodności i postępowania z nimi w organizacjach, które posiadały w przeszłości certyfikowany SZJ zgodny z wymaganiami normy ISO 9001 i zrezygnowały z jego certyfikacji. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań można stwierdzić, że w analizowanych przedsiębiorstwach pomimo braku przedłużonej ważności certyfikatu nadal stosowane są pewne elementy systemu zarządzania jakością, zwłaszcza te, które mają wpływ na ich konkurencyjność, postrzeganie przez klientów i jakość produktu końcowego.

The quality of final product is created in the enterprise from the moment of the idea, through preparations and realization of manufacturing process, to accomplishment of finished product. To provide „good quality products", organization should take care of their quality in the whole production cycle. That's why it makes measurements and assesments of product or/and realization process. The aim of conducted survey was to analyse the process of revealing and fighting incompatibilities in organizations, which had a certified quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and resigned to certify it. Results of the performed studies show, that in analysed enterprises despite the lack of prolonged certificate some elements of quality management system still occur, especially these influencing the competitiveness, brand image and quality of final product.

In order to favorably influence some product manufacture qualities of plastics (an increase of mechanical properties, chemical resistance, etc.), or by reason of reduction in price of finished plastic product, the fillers are added to plastic materials. The contribution deals with the change of mechanical properties of selected types of plastics with different % of glass filler. The mechanical properties were measured by tensile test and Charpy impact test in a standard ambient and after degradation of materials by UV radiance. The fracture areas of studied materials were observed on scanning microscope.

Obróbka elektroerozyjna to kluczowa technologia, wykorzystywana przy produkcji narzędzi, form, wykrojników, dotycząca obróbki materiałów ze stali narzędziowych. Technologia elektrodrążenia pozwala na wytwarzanie elementów z bardzo dużą dokładnością oraz gładkością powierzchni. Jednak niewłaściwie zaprojektowany proces, źle dobrane parametry mogą pogorszyć jakość powierzchni, a tym samym właściwości eksploatacyjne wyrobu. W pracy zwrócono uwagę na te elementy procesu, które mogą wpływać na jakość powierzchni obrabianego materiału.

Electrodischarge machining is a key technology, used in production of tools, forms, punches, so the processing of materials from tool steel. The technology of electrodischarge allows production of elements with large exactitude and the smoothness of the surface. However wrongly designed process, bad wellchosen parameters can worsen the quality of the surface, and the same exploational proprieties of the article. In the article attention was paid in to these elements of the process which can influence to the quality of the surface of the worked material.

Jakość produktów i usług coraz częściej decyduje o sukcesie danej firmy. Czynnik ten jest przedstawiany obok funkcjonalności produktu i jego ceny jako zasadnicze kryterium. Do niedawna za jakość wyrobu odpowiadał dział kontroli jakości, którego zadaniem było przeprowadzanie kontroli wyrobu w newralgicznych punktach przebiegu procesu produkcyjnego. Funkcja ta jest powoli eliminowana. Coraz częściej pracownik produkcyjny ponosi całkowitą odpowiedzialność za wytwarzany przez siebie produkt i wie, że pośredniej kontroli jakości już nie ma lub w bliskiej przyszłości nie będzie. Obowiązuje tzw. samokontrola.

W referacie przedstawiono bazę surowcową kopalń Kompanii Węglowej S.A., zdolności produkcyjne zakładów przeróbczych, stan technologii wzbogacania węgla, a także techniczne wyposażenie zakładów przeróbczych kopalń tej spółki. Przedstawiono główne wskaźniki jakościowe produkcji węgla kamiennego w 2003 roku oraz strukturę produkcji według rodzajów i grup sortymentowych. Na zakończenie zaproponowano kierunki modernizacji zakładów przeróbczych.

The paper presents raw coal data of he mines of Kompania Węglowa S.A., throughput capacity of coal preparation plants, technological situation of coal beneficiation and also technical equipment of coal preparation plants of this Company. It presents basic qualitative indices of hard coal production in 2003 and the production structure according to types and groups of coal grades. Finally, trends in upgrading of coal preparation plants is suggested.

Opisano metody uznawania technologii spawania z podkreśleniem metod opartych na wykonywaniu i badaniach złączy próbnych oraz na stosowaniu technologii standardowej, a także przyczyn, które skłaniają krajowe przedsiębiorstwa do ubiegania się o uznanie technologii spawania. Wskazano korzyści techniczne i ekonomiczne uzyskiwane w wyniku dysponowania przez przedsiębiorstwo uznanymi technologiami, podkreślając wpływ takich technologii na stabilizację wysokiej jakości produkcji oraz ich znaczenie marketingowe.

It has been presented the problem of testing and approval of welding procedures. The basic documents composing the technological documentation of welding have been characterized while the order and manner of their preparation have been mantioned. It has been described the methods of approval of welding procedures laying an emphasis on those based on the making and testing of test joints and on application of standard procedures. It has been given also the reasons for which home enterprises make efforts to get the approval of welding procedure. Technical and economical advantages achieved by enterprises in consequence of the obtainment of welding procedure approval have been indicated and the effect of such procedures on the stabilization of high quality production and their importance for marketing reason have been accentuated.
