The article deals with the synthesis of an optimal digital controller for a stochastic plant. In order to optimize the control system, an integral quality criterion together with minimization of the controlled parameter variance that is offered here, besides the control actions the control objects are taken into account. Using the methods of optimization theory for a single-loop control system, the structure and parameters of the digital regulator are determined. The structure of the digital controller is analysed from the parameters of the quality criterion and the mathematical description of the control object. An example of the synthesis of a digital controller for an automatic control system for the air temperature at the output of the CV-P°2L°N-63B/F-N ceiling conditioner, which showed the efficiency of the digital controller when compensating for random disturbances, is given here. The obtained results are recommended to be used by the specialists on automation for the control system design as well as optimization of the existing ones.

Artykuł dotyczy syntezy optymalnego sterownika cyfrowego dla stochastycznego obiektu kontrolnego. Aby zoptymalizować system regulacji, zaproponowano integralne kryterium jakości z minimalizacją wariancji kontrolowanego parametru, oprócz działań kontrolnych obiektów sterujących. Wykorzystując metody teorii optymalizacji dla jednopętlowego systemu sterowania, określana jest struktura i parametry sterownika cyfrowego. Strukturę kontrolera cyfrowego przeanalizowano na podstawie parametrów kryterium jakości i opisu matematycznego obiektu kontrolnego. Podano przykład syntezy kontrolera cyfrowego dla automatycznego systemu kontroli temperatury powietrza na wyjściu klimatozatora CV-P°2L°N-63B/F-N, który pokazał wydajność cyfrowego regulatora przy kompensacji zakłóceń losowych. Uzyskane wyniki są zalecane do wykorzystania przez specjalistów w dziedzinie automatyki przy projektowaniu i optymalizacji już istniejących systemów regulacji.

Content available remote Conformity assessment as a manner of risk optimisation in organisations

Purpose: of the paper has been the revealing the dependence between conformity assessment of the implemented quality system of any kind and optimization of the system risk in typical production organisation, special organisation realising production for products supplied for the needs of arm forces as well as research and standardizing laboratory. Design/methodology/approach: Methodology used for the analysis has covered the analyses of results of internal and external audits conducted in Polish organisations certified on the basis of conformity assessment with requirements of ISO 9001 standard, AQAP 2110 publication and accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Findings: of analysis are as follows: estimation of number and character of nonconformities, occurring during processes of internal and external conformity assessment, has described dependences between size and branch of organisation, where the management system is implemented, phase of implementation as well as the time of the system functioning. Practical implications: can be applied in case of any organisation and any kind of audit; the used procedure of conformity assessment allows for the definition of the value of the risk connected with quality assurance - in management system based on quality criterion, in services, and both production and research processes. Originality/value: Value of the presented paper has been constituted by the description of different quality systems, based on requirements of ISO 9001, AQAP 2110 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards in the model of the management system using the conformity assessment in the improvement cycle of system risk minimization.

W artykule omówiono algorytm optymalnego wyboru przedsięwzięcia inwestycyjnego na podstawie wybranych kryteriów jakościowych z uwzględnieniem niepełnej informacji, dotyczącej wartości kryteriów jakościowych, takich jak: atrakcyjność, nowatorstwo, niepowtarzalność, zgodność z trendem, funkcjonalność, konkurencyjność, potrzeby rynku.

Content available remote New quality assessment criterion of AlSi5Cu1 alloy

The paper presents the discussion of the results of mechanical testing for aluminium foundry alloy AlSi5Cu1Mg for high-loaded machine elements. Values of yield strength (Rp0.2), tensile strength (Rm), elongation(A5) and hardness (HB) are usually considered as the primary quality assessment criterion for a manufacturing process. It was concluded, that this criterion, A5 index particularly, is unsatisfactory to estimate the plasticity of the alloy and its crack resistance in the presence of sharp-pointed stress concentrators or microcracks. More adequate parameter is plane strain fracture toughness K_Ic. However, size of the samples appeared to be twice as large as would be needed to fulfill requirements of test conditions, and the test itself is laborious and time-consuming that it becomes impractical as a acceptance test. Therefore, substitute test for quality assessment - determination of tensile strength in the presence of a sharp notch kmR was applied. The comparative analysis of kmR/Rp0.2 ratio, as a more enhanced fatigue resistance criterion than kmR and plane strain fracture toughness K_Ic of the alloy was performed. It was assumed that kmR/Rp0.2 parameter has good correlation with the critical stress intensity factor K_Ic Thus, under manufacturing process conditions, being unable to carry out K_Ic test, it may be successfully replaced by kmR test.
