W pracy przedstawiono nową uproszczoną metodą preselekcji monokrystalicznych elementów czynnych detektorów piroelektrycznych na bazie TGS. Metoda ta oparta jest na prowadzonych przez autorów badaniach zależności pomiędzy strukturą domenową a własnościami elektrycznymi ferroelektrycznych monokryształów TGS.

The new simplified method of preselection of monocrystalline TGS active elements of the pyroelectric detectors is presented in the paper. The method is based on the authors researches upon relation between domain structure and electric properties of ferroelectric TGS doped single crystals.

Effect of Hydrostatic Pressure on the Low Temperature Phase Transition in Ferroelectrics: (CH3NH3)5Bi2Cl11 and (CH3NH3)5Bi2Br11

Results of hydrostatic pressure on the low temperature ferroelectric-ferroelectric phase transition in (CH3NH3)5Bi2Cl11 at about 170 K and (CH3NH3)5Bi2Br11 at 77 K are presented. The phase transition in both cases revealed a positive pressure coefficient. The pyroelectric coefficients in the vicinity of the low temperature transitions become more and more diffusive as pressure increases.Asimilar molecular mechanism of phase transitions in both methylammonium salts is postulated.
