In the literaturę, there are discussions concerning the ways of maximalization of companies value as a main goal of company. The issue is discussed over the issues of agency theory and corporate governance. In the articJe there were defined the following relations: the owner and manager in the context of agency theory There were also pointed out reasons and needs of creating the efficient corporate governance. The role and responsibilities of institutional investors were also described.
