W pracy porównano metodę rozdziału proszków mineralnych przez przesiewanie na mokro, a następnie poddano analizie granulometrycznej w laserowym analizatorze cząstek. W ten sposób można uzyskać zawartości nadziarna i podziarna. Analizator mógłby znaleźć zastosowanie w zakładach przeróbczych na linii technologicznej do badania zawartości nadziarna i podziarna w ładowanym materiale. Klient otrzymywałby certyfikaty zgodności zamówienia pod względem uziarnienia – procentowe zawartości wąskich klas ziarnowych.

The analysis of the obtained research results shows significant effect of density on particle size measurement precision for laser diffraction method. Lower density material, i.e. coal showed lower variation results in a particular narrow size classes of the material. It was noted that the lower the variability of the results of subsequent tests carried out in each class, the greater the precision of the measurement of particle size of raw materials. In the case of test bars here is a material with the highest density, the results obtained from the measurements indicated a very small precision, confirming the value of the coefficient of higher precision (P), especially in the case of the mixture.
