We get from equations for laminar and turbulent flow criterion equations containing competent criteria without size. Two processes at pressure die casting are similar when their corresponding criteria are equal. We can introduce instead of the real flow the similar model flow. It is possible to introduce then the coefficients of size and pressure similarity for the model liquids of the alloy AlSi water, mercury, woods metal, and tin solder that is in the table.

In the paper the mathematical model of hydraulic system with accumulator was presented. The model was based on electrical analogy for laminar flow in second phase hydraulic cylinder starting. Calculations were done and diagrams were prepared: flow rate, pressure in accumulator and in hydraulic cylinder and piston stroke.

Conditions of shaft equilibrium in a hydrostatic journal bearing are usually formulated for two types of restrictor flow: laminar and turbulent. In practice, limiting oneself to only these two cases frequently turns out to be insufficient. One may come across restrictor constructions consisting of elements connected in series, in which the character of flow is different [L. 5]. Sometimes, oil is channelled to the bearing recesses through capillary and orifice restrictors connected in parallel. Formula allows one to calculate the rate of oil flow through the restrictor for any character of flow: laminar, turbulent, and also for intermediate cases i.e. for different restrictor connections. Equations of shaft equilibrium in a hydrostatic joural bearing hold good for all kinds of loads - constant or variable, any number of recesses k > or = 3, and also for all locations of loads with respect to recesses. In the event of static load, the solutions for the abovementioned equations are given dependencies. Figure shows the results of measurements of displacements y and z in a force-function Wy (at Wz=0) for two bearings, the relevant data regarding which have been presented in a table. The results of theoretical analysis and experimental research show that equations in which dependence has been taken into consideration, may be useful in the process of designing and researching of hydrostatic journal bearings.
