W artykule zaprezentowano konstrukt twórczości technologicznej, opierając się na założeniu, że stanowi on znaczący mechanizm rozwojowy przedsiębiorstw wysokich technologii. Twórczość technologiczna traktowana jest jako połączenie dwóch odrębnych pojęć: twórczości technologicznej oraz rozwoju technologii. Opierając się na tym założeniu, w artykule w pierwszej kolejności przedstawiono znaczenie twórczości technologicznej w rozwoju strategicznym przedsiębiorstw wysokich technologii. Omówiono również strategie rozwojowe przedsiębiorstw wysokich technologii w aspekcie twórczości technologicznej.

The article presents the construct of technology creativity based on the assumption that it is a significant mechanism for development of high technology enterprises. Technology creativity is treated as a combination of two distinct concepts: technology creativity and technology development. Basing on this assumption in the article on the first place it is presented the importance of technology creativity in the strategy development of high technology enterprises. There are also discussed the strategies of enterprises of high technology in terms of technology creativity.

The article discusses the role of leadership as a key factor affecting the development of creativity in the high-tech enterprises. In this context, basing on the analysis of the literature, the article presents the leadership styles which are particularly important for the development of creativity in contemporary high-tech enterprises. The article presents the results of research conducted within the project relating to the area of leadership in high-tech enterprises of the aviation industry. The area of executive leadership refers primarily to the analysis of the role of the leader of the organization, and the qualities and skills which a leader should have in motivating and stimulating the creative behavior of employees.

Celem artykułu jest dyskusja na temat znaczenia przedsiębiorczości technologicznej (w przypadku której istotna jest innowacja produktowa i procesowa) w tworzeniu i rozwoju przedsiębiorstw wysokich technologii. Zaprezentowano koncepcję modelu przedsiębiorczości technologicznej rozumianej jako innowacyjny proces tworzenia i rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa, a także jako proces strategiczny. W artykule poddano analizie proces przedsiębiorczości technologicznej na etapie kreowania innowacji produktowej i procesowej oraz tworzenia szans praktycznego wykorzystania tych innowacji.

The purpose of the paper is to discuss the meaning of technology entrepreneurship (which is based on process and product innovation) in creation and development of high technology firms. The concept of technology entrepreneurship which is understood as innovation process and as project of creation and development of organization and as a strategic process is presented in the paper as well. In the paper the technology entrepreneurship process on the stage of creation of both process and product innovation and on the stage of creation of opportunity for practical use of this innovation.
