W artykule został przedstawiony jeden z ciekawszych samochodów Mikrus produkowanych w Polsce. Prototyp tego samochodu był badany w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego, co pozwoliło na zachowanie ciekawych materiałów pochodzących z badań. Na początku artykułu zarysowano zakres badań oraz metody. W dalszej części przedstawiono wybrane usterki konstrukcji, które wystąpiły w okresie badań samochodu. Usterki te przedstawiono w postaci chronologicznej, biorąc pod uwagę czas ich wystąpienia oraz przebieg pojazdu w momencie wystąpienia usterki. Do zobrazowania niektórych usterek dodano kilka fotografii. W artykule przedstawiono także ocenę badań oraz sugestie dotyczące poprawy budowy różnych elementów konstrukcji samochodu.

The article was presented one of the interesting cars Mikrus produced in Poland. The prototype of this car was tested at the Institute of Road Transport, which allowed the preservation of interesting materials from the research. At the beginning of the article outlines the scope of research and methods. The following shows the selected design faults that occurred during the test car. Faults are presented in chronological order, taking into account the time of their occurrence and mileage of the vehicle at the time of the fault. To illustrate some of the faults were added a few photographs. The article presents an evaluation of the research and suggestions for improving the construction of the various elements of car design.

W artykule zaprezentowano jedną z najciekawszych prototypowych rodzin samochodów osobowych badanych w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego (ITS) w latach 1953-1954 XX wieku. Pionier to unikatowy polski prototyp samochodu osobowego, drugi po GADZIE 500, który powstał kilka lat po zakończeniu II Wojny Światowej. Zachowane w Instytucie zdjęcia, schematy, opisy techniczne i instrukcje są ważnym przyczynkiem do badań nad historią polskiej powojennej motoryzacji. Mogą też być zachętą dla rekonstruktorów do wykonania kopii tych unikatowych prototypowych samochodów. Trzy z pięciu wersji tego pojazdu były poddane badaniom w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego. Przebadano samochody Pionier w wersji ciężarowo-osobowej, kabriolet oraz roadster. Niestety ze względu na liczne usterki i wady konstrukcyjne pojazdy te nie weszły do masowej produkcji. Próby czasu nie przetrwał również żaden prototypowy egzemplarz samochodu Pionier, jednak dzięki dostępnym materiałom na temat badań nad tymi prototypami, wiedza o nich została zachowana na kolejne lata.

This article presents one of the most interesting prototype of passenger cars tested at the Motor Transport Institute in the years 1953-1954 of the twentieth century. "Pionier" is a unique Polish prototype of passenger car, after "GAD 500", which was constructed in Poland only a few years after the end of World War II. Preserved at the Institute: pictures, diagrams, technical descriptions and instructions are an important contribution to the study of the history of post-war Polish automotive industry. They can also be an incentive for reenactors, to make a copy of these unique prototype cars. Three of the five versions of the vehicle were tested at the Motor Transport Institute. "Pionier" was tested in cargo-passenger version, cabriolet and a roadster. Unfortunately, due to numerous structural defects, these vehicles have not entered into mass production. Did not survive also any copy of the prototype car, however, thanks to the available materials about these prototypes, the knowledge about them has been preserved for future years.
