Charakter procesów technologicznych oraz dostępność powietrza stwarza szerokie perspektywy wykorzystania sprężonego powietrza. W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę możliwości zastosowania sprężonego powietrza w różnych sektorach gospodarki, w szczególności w inżynierii środowiska. Zdefiniowano pojęcie „inżynieria środowiska” oraz określono podstawowe jej dziedziny. Przedstawiono zastosowanie sprężonego powietrza w różnego rodzaju technologiach służących kształtowaniu i ochronie środowiska zewnętrznego i wewnętrznego, gospodarowaniu zasobami naturalnymi i zapobieganiu niekorzystnym skutkom działalności człowieka. Wskazano procesy, w których jest ono zarówno czynnikiem technologicznym, jak i medium stosowanym w wielu czynnościach pomocniczych.

Kind of processes engineering and the availability of air poses a wide use perspective of compressed air. The article presents the characterization of different sectors of the economy, in particular environmental engineering employing compressed air. Defined the concept of “environmental engineering” and referred to its primary field. Shows the use of compressed air in all sorts of technologies for the development and protection of the external and internal environment, management of natural resources and the prevention of adverse effects of human activities. Indicated the processes in which it is the technological medium and medium used in many secondary auxiliary operations.

W artykule przedstawiono projekt i wstępne wyniki testowania automatycznej, mobilnej, multisensorowej stacji pomiarowej do monitorowania jakości wody w zbiornikach wodnych i alarmowania w sytuacjach wystąpienia zagrożeń skażeniami chemicznymi. Pierwszym użytkownikiem i weryfikatorem systemu będzie Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Krakowie. Miejsce testowania - zbiornik wody pitnej w Dobczycach.

The paper presents the design and results of preliminary testing of automatic, mobile, multisensors measuring stations for water quality monitoring in body of water and alerting in a case of chemical contamination risk. The Municipal Waterworks and Sewer Enterprise in Krakow will put the measuring station into exploitation in the drinking water reservoir in Dobczyce.

The article presents the results of investigations, which make a fragment of the broad-scale studies carried out as a part of the statutory activity on optimising the foundry sand technology using new, modified, inorganic binders. The results of investigations regarding the effect of multiple reclamation on the technological properties of foundry sands with inorganic binders were presented in a concise manner. The reclaim sand were introduced to moulding sands prepared with the new, modified, inorganic binders bonded by the chemical reaction or by blowing with gaseous CO2. Attention was focussed on the effect of multiple reclamation on the residual strength and bench life properties of moulding sands prepared with the new types of inorganic binders.

As is well known, one of the most important social obligations of industrial enterprises is to be responsive to the environment. Protection of the environment and keeping it unpolluted for the future are among the social responsibilities and duties of both states and all enterprises. Therefore, all countries, notably the European Union (EU) have established a number of laws regarding the protection of environment. During the process of integrating Turkey into the EU, the precautions our enterprises must take regarding adaptation to environmental laws are as important as improving their production processes.

Jak dobrze wiadomo, najważniejszym społecznym obowiązkiem przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych jest bycie odpowiedzialnym za środowisko. Ochrona środowiska i nie zanieczyszczanie go jest społecznym obowiązkiem wszystkich przedsiębiorstw. Dlatego wszystkie kraje Unii Europejskiej (EU) uchwaliły znaczną liczbę praw dotyczących ochrony środowiska. W czasie procesu przygotowawczego integracji Turcji z Unią Europejską, istotne jest aby tureckie przedsiębiorstwa zapoznały się z prawami dotyczącymi ochrony środowiska i zaadaptowały je w celu ulepszenia procesów produkcyjnych.
