W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia dotyczące procedury sprostowania oznaczenia nieruchomości w pierwszym dziale księgi wieczystej w oparciu o dane ewidencji gruntów i budynków. Omówiono także problematykę wpływu charakteru danych o przebiegu granic działek w ewidencji gruntów i budynków na prawidłowe oznaczenie obszaru nieruchomości w księgach wieczystych. Zwrócono przy tym szczególną uwagę na znaczenie oznaczenia nieruchomości dla bezpieczeństwa obrotu cywilno-prawnego i ewentualnych skutków nieprawidłowego sprostowania obszaru nieruchomości w dziale pierwszym księgi wieczystej w oparciu o dane ewidencji gruntów, w której granice zostały określone w oparciu o dawne przepisy (dekret w sprawie ewidencji gruntów i budynków z 1955 roku oraz zarządzenie w sprawie ewidencji gruntów z 1969 roku) zgodnie ze stanem władania.

The article deals with the procedure for correcting the property designation in the first section of the land and mortgage register on the basis of the land and buildings register data. The problem of the influence of the nature of data concerning the course of plot boundaries in the land and buildings register on the proper designation of the real estate area in land and mortgage registers is also discussed. Particular attention has been paid to the importance of the property designation for the safety of the conduct of civil law transactions and the possible effects of improper correction of the real estate area in the first section of the land and mortgage register based on the land register data, in which the boundaries were determined pursuant to the old regulations (Decree of 1955 on land and buildings register and Order of 1969 on the land register) according to the state of possession.
