Z wynikiem pomiaru chropowatości elementu o kołowym przekroju, za pomocą profilometru stykowego, wyznaczany jest opromienień dopasowanego okręgu. Zauważono, że wartości promieni wykazują błędy o charakterze systematycznym i losowym, których wielkości nie można uzasadnić niedokładnością urządzenia ani jakością obiektu mierzonego. Przyczyny błędów doszukiwano się w czterech czynnikach: rodzaju końcówki użytej do pomiaru, prędkości pomiaru, relacji wartości mierzonej wielkości średnicy i chropowatości, oraz w zakresu kątowego odwzorowania.

The paper presents the measurement results of a radius of circularly-symmetric elements. The measurements were made using a contact profilometer. The radius is an additional parameter obtained during determining the roughness and is computed most often by the least squares method on a basis of the measurement points. In case of using the contact profilometer the radius is evaluated on the basis of a circle sector. The range and deviation of the standard radius measurement results taken by means of the used contact profilometer are given in the paper. Influence of measurement conditions was statistically examined. Influence of the tip kind on the measurement results was proved. It was most likely caused by vibrations. However, there was no significant influence of the tip length on the determined radius value. The measured sample size had statistically significant influence on the radius evaluation results as well. The Kruskal-Wallis test showed that influence of the measurement velocity on the radius measurement results was not essential. There was no statistically significant difference between the medians of the measurement results at the confidence level equal to 0.95.
