The synthesis of designing of the moulding stands was made in this study, which are the most important component of the production structure of the foundries. The basic principles are: the choice of the technique of making moulds, the choice of the technological outils and tools, the choice of the structure of the mechanization of the forming process. As criteria of the synthesis we took: the minimization of the use of the moulding materials, the optimum number of tools and matrixes in use, the optimum delimitation of the necessary place, the optimum use of the vats to fill the moulds. This procedure is a base of the algorithmic process of the designing of the moulding stands.

W opracowaniu dokonano syntezy zasad projektowania gniazd formowania, będących głównym składnikiem w strukturze produkcyjnej odlewni. Do najważniejszych zasad zaliczono: wybór technologii wytwarzania form, wybór zespołów technologicznych i oprzyrządowania, wybór struktury mechanizacji procesu formowania. Jako kryteria syntezy przyjęto: minimalizację zużycia materiałów formierskich, optymalną ilość oprzyrządowania i skrzyń w obiegu, optymalne wyznaczenie niezbędnej powierzchni, optymalne wykorzystanie kadzi do zalewania form. Procedura ta jest podstawą algorytmizacji procesu projektowania gniazd formierskich.
