Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia that can cause a brain neurological disorder with progressive memory loss as a result of brain cell damage. Prevention and treatment of disease is a key challenge in today’s aging society. Accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease plays an important role in patient management, especially in the early stages of the disease, because awareness of risk allows patients to undergo preventive measures even before irreversible brain damage occurs. Over the years, techniques such as statistical modeling or machine learning algorithms have been used to improve understanding of this condition. The objective of the work is the study of the methods of detection and progression of Alzheimer’s disease through artificial intelligence techniques that have been proposed in the last three years. The methodology used was based on the search, selection, review, and analysis of the state of the art and the most current articles published on the subject. The most representative works were analyzed, which allowed proposing a taxonomic classification of the studied methods and on this basis a possible solution strategy was proposed within the framework of the project developed by the Cuban Center for Neurosciences based on the conditions more convenient in terms of cost and effectiveness and the most current trends based on the use of artificial intelligence techniques.

The use of cartographic sources and methods are the basic tools of historical geography. One of the main research trends in this field is the analysis of the spatial layout and number of old settlement units. The confrontation of maps with historical data allows the drawing of a town’s area at a certain time to be studied. The retrogression (R) and progression (P) methods that are currently used are imperfect and the model created (map) is usually incomplete and its reliability is limited. In the author’s opinion, the joining of retrogression and progression (a new method; combined – K)1 increases the quality of cartographic reconstruction of natural and cultural landscapes. The use of basic mathematical methods from the scope of set operations means the component reliability of the researched cartographic model can be varied because the common part of the retrogression and progression cartographic model represents mutual verification of source data. Quantitative effectiveness assessments of retrogression (R), progression (P) and the combined method (K) can be made for countable elements (e.g. buildings). As part of the conducted study, the effectiveness of separate methods was calculated: R = 76% for retrogression, P = 59% for progression and K = R ∪ P = 85% for the combined method. The mutual verification of the methods (R ∩ P) included 45% of residential buildings. The author describes the proposition of a new method and the course of verification research.

With the end of the Cold War and the opening of the Eastern bloc countries, Vienna was given a chance to break away from peripheral geopolitical position in the New Europe. In 2005, the principles and objectives of the infrastructural development of the New Vienna were enacted for a period of ten years. There were thirteen specific areas targeted – problem areas – where living conditions should be improved – these areas have a role to play in ecological, economic and social life terms.

Whether exercise will have a beneficial impact on health depends on proper selection of the intensity and character of physical effort. A well-planned program will improve the functioning of some organs and systems as a result of adaptative changes in the organism. For the adaptation to occur, however, training stimuli must reach a threshold value. This means that the intensity of training should match the participants' abilities. According to the principle of progression, one should adapt the volume, the difficulty and intensity of exercises to the requirements of the participants, which will be increasing with time. The ability of drawing up a safe and effective program consists of putting the components of training together, both in single classes and long-term plans for shaping the participants' physical fitness. This paper presents a selection of all the components of recreation training for Step Reebok recreation classes.
