Purpose: The aim of the study presented in the article is to show that polemology can be taught at higher education, in particular at Polish military academies. Due to the interdisciplinary approach to the issue of wars and armed conflicts, polemology treats the war as social phenomenon, and therefore does not focus only on military aspects. Design/methodology/approach: The aim of the article is to determine to what extent polemology as a subject of teaching corresponds to content in education programs in military and civil studies in War Studies University. The main research problem is as follows: how students evaluate the subject content of polemology and the validity of its conduct at bachelor and master studies. Findings: The results of empirical research also showed that polemology in its research should have a purposeful character. Such a belief leads to a dialogue in science, stimulation of creative imagination, the result of which may be: discovering original and currently important polemological problems; creating new interdisciplinary research projects; creating alternative practical solutions; setting directions of changes in science (creation of new fields and scientific disciplines). Originality/value: The presented research shows a general approach to practicing science – it should have an interdisciplinary character. There are many indications that currently practicing any scientific discipline requires companion knowledge in the field of other scientific disciplines.

Artykuł jest poświęcony problemom oceny wartości i ważności szkolenia w wyższych uczelniach Ukrainy. Priorytet wartości sfer edukacyjnych wśród ukraińskich studentów ta studentów krajów europejskich jest zdefiniowane. Powody i czynniki decydujące o wyborze uniwersytetu, specjalności ta kluczowe motywy uczniów w uzyskaniu wyższego wykształcenia są ujawniane. Podstawowe metody uzasadniania kosztów szkolenia specjalisty uczelni są przeanalizowane. Połączenie czynników wpływających na ceny usług edukacyjnych, kształtowanie skutecznej polityki cenowej w instytucjach edukacyjnych jest wyróżnione.

Student preparation for entrepreneurship has become a key strategic goal in the knowledge economy over the past decade. Young entrepreneurs represent the potential for successful start-ups, their innovative development and sustainable growth. The explored topic of difference between men and women is most significant in case of entrepreneurship propensity. The male population is more self-confident at all whilst the women have less various responses to the surveyed questions. All the dependent variables involved in the data set reach higher standard deviation for the male population than for the female population. Many research studies draw attention to gender differentiation in student attitudes towards entrepreneurship. Men choose to become entrepreneurs much more often than women, which is affected by many factors. The analysis outcome can conclude that gender of students is significant determinant of attitude toward both entrepreneurship environment (p < 0.05) and especially entrepreneurship propensity (p < 0.001).

Przygotowanie studentów do przedsiębiorczości stało się kluczowym celem strategicznym gospodarki opartej na wiedzy w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu. Młodzi przedsiębiorcy reprezentują potencjał udanych start-upów, ich innowacyjny rozwój i trwały wzrost. Zbadany temat różnicy między kobietami i mężczyznami ma największe znaczenie w przypadku skłonności do przedsiębiorczości. Populacja mężczyzn jest bardziej pewna siebie, podczas gdy kobiety mają mniej różnych odpowiedzi na ankiety. Wszystkie zmienne zależne związane z zestawem danych osiągają wyższe odchylenie standardowe dla populacji mężczyzn niż dla populacji kobiet. Wiele badań naukowych zwraca uwagę na zróżnicowanie płci w postawach studentów wobec przedsiębiorczości. Mężczyźni częściej stają się przedsiębiorcami niż kobiety, na które wpływa wiele czynników. W wyniku analizy można stwierdzić, że płeć studentów jest istotnym wyznacznikiem stosunku do środowiska przedsiębiorczości (p < 0,05), a zwłaszcza skłonności do przedsiębiorczości (p < 0,001).

Air pollution is a major problem nowadays, due to its importance as a source of other environmental problems, such as global warming and climate change, as well as their impact on worldwide health. Different studies support that this situation can be turned around, by applying diverse actions at different scales; individual, industrial and governmental. The exemplary programmes presented in this paper can be easily adapted by the interested and with their help education for sustainable development (including activities for clean air), can be implemented, similarly to the Faculty of Biology and Agriculture at the University of Rzeszów.

Zanieczyszczenie powietrza jest obecnie poważnym problemem, ze względu na jego znaczenie jako źródła innych problemów środowiskowych, takich jak globalne ocieplenie i zmiany klimatu, a także ich wpływ na zdrowie na całym świecie. Badania potwierdzają, że można odwrócić tę sytuację, stosując działania w różnych skalach; indywidualnej, przemysłowej i rządowej. Przykładowe programy przedstawione w opracowaniu mogą być łatwo zaadaptowane przez zainteresowanych, a przy ich pomocy można wdrożyć edukację na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju (z uwzględnieniem działań na rzecz czystego powietrza), podobnie jak na Wydziale Biologiczno-Rolniczym Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego.

Development of society rises before specialists in the field of organization of education and teachers at Universities new tasks. One of main reasons of change of paradigm of education consists in penetration of IT in all spheres of human activity. The increase of efficiency of educational process can be achieved by introduction of computer methods of teaching. There is the necessity of application of numeral methods for the decision of the concrete applied problems studying a row of different engineering disciplines. Therefore it is necessary to know the features of realization and application of these methods. The developed educational automated system is created for this purpose. Realization of new pedagogical technologies is impossible without the effective use of computer from auxiliary tools to basic at distant learning. The permanent increase of volume of information which must be independently mastered by student requires the intensive and rational use of electronic educational methods. Students which systematically and independently work with a computer, study to select and systematize information, draw conclusions, adapt themselves quickly under new conditions. The automated subsystem for conducting of laboratory sessions in the frame of "Numerical methods" course is developed. The purpose of the subsystem is to deep the knowledge of methods. The system has user friendly interface, allows estimating level of students knowledge and conduct laboratory sessions of different kinds.

Ważnym elementem nauczania, w tym nauczania na odległość z wykorzystaniem sieci komputerowych, są programy edukacyjne. W przypadku nauczania zagadnień syntezy układów cyfrowych oprogramowanie powinno uwzględnić: opis zagadnień teoretycznych, przykłady syntezy, symulację pracy układów i możliwość sprawdzenia nabytej wiedzy. Wymienione funkcje programu dydaktycznego można uwzględnić w wyniku zastosowania różnych rozwiązań. Chcąc umożliwić prezentację syntezy i sprawdzanie wiedzy dla dowolnych danych wprowadzonych przez użytkownika, trzeba zaimplementować odpowiednie algorytmy dla komputerowej syntezy i dla komputerowej kontroli poprawności przebiegu syntezy realizowanej przez użytkownika. W pracy przedstawiono rozwiązania zastosowane w programach: MatryceLogiczne [2] Spld [3] utworzonych dla nauczania zagadnień programowanych matryc logicznych.

The educational programs are the important element of the teaching, especially remote teaching with the use of computer networks. If the teaching of digital circuits synthesis is the case the software should include: theoretical description, examples of synthesis, simulation of the circuit operation and the verification of new skills. Mentioned functions of the didactic program could be achieved by applying different methods. In order to make possible to present synthesis and to verify the new knowledge for any data chosen by the user, there is a need to implement the proper algorithms for computer performed synthesis and computer control of the synthesis performed by the user. In the paper presents the solution applied to programs MatryceLogiczne [2] and Spld [3] written for teaching of the PLD based circuits design.

Sieci komputerowe coraz częściej są stosowane w nauczaniu, w tym w nauczaniu na odległość. W tym przypadku ważnym elementem są programy wspomagające nauczanie. W pracy omówiono rozwiązania stosowane w programach dydaktycznych w celu umożliwienia wszechstronnych ćwiczeń w ramach tematyki nauczania i zaprezentowano rozwiązania zastosowane w programach wspomagających nauczanie w zakresie układów synchronicznych.

Computer network are used more and more often for teaching including process of remote teaching. In this case, structure of programs for computer aided teaching is very important. The paper presents problems connected with design of didactic programs used for teaching of synchronous switching circuits. To make possible to cover in such programs a wide area of exercises there is a need to implement algorithms: for circuits synthesis, simulations and or knowledge checking.
