The article discusses problems related to automatization and robotization in industrial production. The increasing use of automatization and robotization in the industry encounter problems related to the proper organization of production. Characteristics of simple automatization and flexible automatization and its influence on production organization were presented. Also the factors influencing the increasing use of robots in industry are discussed. Thanks to their large capacities robots are increasingly replacing human labor and for example are used for carrying heavy loads. Examples of the use of automatization in the production of prefabricated concrete blocks are presented. The effects of automatization for the organization of production process were showed on the example of non-automatized production, half automatized mobile block making machine and fully automated line for prefabricated concrete blocks. Computer models of those three variants of the production are described and the results of the simulation experiment were presented. Simulation results clearly show the great impact of automation on productivity, which is much higher than in non-automatized production. Computer simulation combined with visualization of the production process allows analyzing different organizational solutions. The computer model of production system can be the relatively simple modified and the impact of changes on the process of production can be analyzed. This allows to predict the behavior of the real production system and choose the best in the given situation organizational solution. Remains to consider the economic aspects of the implementation of automation, which were not taken into account.

W artykule przedstawiono klasyfikację urządzeń transportu pneumatycznego, przyjmując jako podstawowe kryterium rozwiązania konstrukcyjne, dokładność dozowania oraz stopień automatyzacji. Dla tak przeprowadzonej klasyfikacji generacji urządzeń podano wdrożenia przemysłowe omawiając ważniejsze zastosowania. W końcowej części autorzy podali kierunki rozwoju urządzeń oraz nowe możliwości ich zastosowań technologicznych.

In this article was shown the classification of pneumatic conveying devices. As the basic criterions for it were taken constructional solutions, weighing systems and a degree of automation. For such made classification of devices’ generation was given the list of industry implementations and more important applications were discussed. In final part authors pointed directions of devices’ development and new opportunities of their technology applications.
