W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań kształtowania plastycznego stopów magnezu. Realizowano próby wyciskania na zimno metodą KOBO i dokonano oceny wpływu parametrów procesu na właściwości mechaniczne i strukturę prętów. Otrzymaną mikrostrukturę stopów magnezu po wyciskaniu porównano z mikrostrukturą w stanie odlanym. Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników właściwości stopów AZ31, AZ61, AZ80 WE43 określono ich podatność do kształtowania plastycznego i możliwości zastosowań na elementy w środkach transportu.

The article presents the results of plastic shaping tests of magnesium alloys. Cold extrusion with the use of KOBO method was conducted together with the assessment of the influence of the process parameters on the mechanical properties and the structure of the rods. The achieved microstructure of magnesium alloys after extrusion was compared with the microstructure in condition after casting. On the basis of achieved results, the properties of alloys AZ31, AZ61, AZ80 and WE43 were determined together with their susceptibility to plastic shaping and the possibilities of their application in the elements and parts of transport vehicles.
