The Statement of Applicability (SoA) is a mandatory document ISMS that you need to develop, prepare, and submit with your ISO 27001, and it is crucial in obtaining your ISO 27001 Risk Assessment and ISMS certification. According to ISO/IEC 27001, Information Security Management System is a collection of ‘that part of the general management system, based on the approach to business risk, to establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve information security. ISO/IEC 27001 specifies the requirements and implementation process for the Information Security Management System. However, implementing this standard without a good SoA document may prove impossible. The article presents a system model for the construction of SoA for ISMS and its certification following the ISO 27001 standard. This model aims to provide instruments for designing and generating an SoA document in relation to ISMS, covering all information processes in GIS. This model allows organizations to evaluate their current state of GIS information asset security implementation according to the best practices defined in ISO/IEC 27001. The proprietary model proposed in this article is assessed from a multi-stage perspective, which confirms that the proposed draft Statement of Use document makes a valuable and innovative contribution to information security management by considering the best practices in this field.

In response to growing transport problems and the deterioration of the quality of life, polish cities began to develop initiatives for sustainable transport development. Many of these activities relate to European projects, like: CIVITAS Initiative, SUMP or FLOW. As a supplement for these projects at the local level are mobility plans implemented for major traffic generators, such as: business and shopping centers, hospitals, universities, schools, offices, etc. The purpose of this article is to present a mobility plan as a tool for sustainable development of transport in urban areas, as well as to show the process of implementation of the mobility plan for institutions and enterprises. A well-prepared mobility plan is beneficial for the environment, employees, customers and it may ensure the financial savings in the long period of time. In western countries the matter of mobility plans is well-known since 2001. Unfortunately, knowledge of this issue in Poland is still low.

The implementation of ITS is carried out with the use of standard project management tools. Therefore, it includes certain phases. One of the most difficult and risky phase of ITS implementation is launching of such projects. An important factor causing this difficulty is the fact that launching is being done on „living organism”. Thus it has to be time-consuming mostly due to the necessity of a proper real-time city traffic data collection. Additional factors are occurring failures (eg. the tram network or traffic lights system) or accidents. Another problem are social expectations, which does not take into account the specifics of ITS implementation. The citizens expect immediate results. The aim of people responsible for the launching phase of such systems is to ensure smooth operation of all its components and to provide local community with information on a relatively long system activation to its full operation. This article presents the analysis of the launching phase of the biggest ITS in Poland.

Implementation of new technologies can be conducted in different ways. The lowest cost of R&D and, at the same time, the lowest investment risk are guaranteed by gradual (step-by-step) development of a new technology based on its testing on a bench scale, pilot scale, demo scale, and on the final verification at a prototype commercial plant. Such a development model of new technologies is preferred in countries like Germany or Japan. On the basis of information available in existing documentation, as well as original analysis, this article presents a recommended path of development for the technology of high pressure coal gasification in a CFB reactor with the use of CO2. The analysis distinguishes nine specific stages of that development and the corresponding readiness levels of the developed technology. Also presented is the current readiness level of the technology of high pressure coal gasification developed within the framework of the NCBR Strategic Programme, and the conditions for its further development.
